I guess I've never understood why people care so much about 'free' onboard snacks..... I never much liked them anyway,and due to my own food allergies I don't eat any of the offered items. I have always,and will continue to bring my own food with me on plane trips. A bag of chips costs about .50 at home, bring a snack!

I think it's a good idea to just assume that free snacks will no longer be offered, and then bring your own. There is no way to be completely sure if an airline will offer free snacks.

I think the issue is that many people got used to not having to bring their own snacks! I will be bringing my own from now on.
