I Don't Know, I Don't Speak Wind!!

Great pics.

I should try The Plaza as I hear good things about it.

The step sisters I waved to. I had other places to go. LOL

A special meal at the Plaza. I am glad you enjoyed it, I did too. Hope to do it again.

A nice halloween too. how cute to have Sophie snuggled up as a pea in a pod.

I did not know the horses had numbers either......

I didn't know the horses had numbers either!!!
Sophie was a cute pea in the pod!!! I'm behind as usual and haven't gone back to see all the pics!! I've been having some laptop issues!!! It still works but not like it usually does, so I've been trying to get it back to normal which is aggravating!!!
Anyway.....
We like the Plaza. I think we've been there 3 times and 2 of those Michael was chosen to be Jr. Mayor!!! :lmao: The second time I had a feeling when they sat us at the table near the back (where we were the first time it happened) and sure enough they started chatting with us and then when they made the announcement we just laughed cause we knew what was happening. Although it was a little different that time!

I love the Plaza! I think it is totally underrated! The food and service are always amazing! The grilled chicken sandwich (skip the ham) is soooo good! :thumbsup2 I bet it was a delicious lunch (and a nice way to skip those crowds! yikes!)

I meant to buy a new ornament this year but it didn't happen. I didn't even make it into that shop! :headache: It was too hard with 3 shopaholic children with a bad case of the "I want"'s (If you can believe it, the 4 year-old boy was the worst! I asked what his favourite part of the trip was when we got home and he said "buying stuff"). Oh well, I'll get one next time! It's fun to look at your pictures and window shop!

Now that I am hearing about the Starbucks rumors, I am really glad we finally got our turn at trying Plaza. ::yes::

Jill and I have both said how much shopping we didn't do that we had planned to do on the October trip. We had planned to get some ornaments, but before we knew it, the trip was over. It's okay, though, because I got 4 ornaments for $19 at Kohl's the other day. :thumbsup2

OK. So how many of thought - just for a second - about making ADR's?? :lmao::rotfl:

Longtime lurker here. Enjoying your report and the stories of your family. So glad Jill is healing and the new baby is precious.

Susan

My first thought was that Christmas is waaaay closer now! Good thing I only buy for the little ones, or I would be stressing. :crazy2:

So glad you unlurked! :cool1: Chime in any time. :)

:wave2:

I'm here and reading along, trying to catch up and STAY caught up! :goodvibes

Love The Plaza...yum. I read a rumor a while ago it might become the new Starbucks. And while I welcome Starbucks wholeheartedly to the Magic Kingdom and will happily get my vanilla latte...don't take away The Plaza. I truly hope it was a false rumor.

I don't drink coffee, so I have no interest in Starbucks at all. That would be a good place for it, I must admit. It's at a good location, and it's the right size. I am going to guess that that rumor could come true.

I bought that Baby's first Christmas frame ornament for my newest great niece! I have yet to give it to her... I know, you're thinking I'm way too young for a great niece. It's on my DH's side - we have about 10 of them!

We enjoyed the Plaza - way back in 2008!! We should go back again.

You better go before it turns into a Starbucks!!!

I got a cute little ornament for Sophie's 1st Christmas at Kohl's. It is a pair of pink shoes, and I thought it was cute. I suppose I could paint a small Hidden Mickey on one of them....:scratchin

I'm partial to the meatloaf at the Plaza.
I hope the rumor that Brook heard was false!

Time shall tell. It does seem like a logical place for one, doesn't it? Can you think of somewhere else in MK that would be good for it? Maybe they could change the Cheshire Cat stand to a Starbucks? That would just get rid of a drink/snack place, and not an eating place. Does Starbucks have food, too?

Great pics.

Glad you enjoyed the pictures.

You 'dissed' the Steps??? :snooty:

What? The queen of trivia didn't know about the numbers??? I feel so honored to share something new with you! You are like Lou Mongello's star student of Disney trivia and knowledge. :worship:

Hope all is well with you and yours! :)

My laptop acts crazy sometimes, too. I need to quit getting cheap ones and get a good one someday. ::yes::

That is fun that he got to be Mr. Mayor. Wonder if they ever choose girl mayors?

Your meal at the Plaza looks really good!!! We've never been there before, but I always want to! As soon as I saw the meatloaf on the menu, I know DF would want to go too!!

OK. So how many of thought - just for a second - about making ADR's?? :lmao::rotfl:

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

I thought I had read that the Starbucks was just being added to Main Street Bakery, not taking over the Plaza. I hope not! In Disneyland, I think it's incorporated into their bakery there, a few rows of the sweets are Starbucks, and then a few are Disney.

haven't posted much but I got all caught up on your report this morning and must say while I hadn't forgotten how much I enjoy your reports, it hit me this morning how much you make me smile inside and out as you share your life with us, both the sad times and the good times! Thank you very much for always giving me things to think about both Disney-wise and life-wise!:thumbsup2

I didn't even consider the meatloaf, but you're not the only person who has said that, so I may need to give it a try next time!

The Starbucks incorporated in with the Bakery could be the answer. I would hope the Starbucks part would have a subtle role in the overall appearance of the place, and have Main Street Bakery keep its quaint little theme for the most part. Either way, I don't think it will affect me too much. It won't make me go to the Bakery more or less. I usually only go when I am with Jill, anyway.

Wow, that was so nice of you to say! It makes a person feel good to know they make others feel good. :)

I don't know if they choose girls for Jr.Mayor.....I don't see why not!!

Glad you enjoyed the Plaza - we like it :)

I second your suggestion of replacing a snack place with Starbucks, not the Plaza  and I can't say I'd want to see it incorporated into the bakery either. It might be nice to pick up a Starbucks coffee but Main Street Bakery has the best treats and lovely theming - it's not one to mess with!

We have eaten at the Plaza twice in the last two weeks for our "going out"meal! I really like it and it seems like a great value for Disney! I would be sad if they made that into Starbucks! I think a great place would be where the hat place
(The Chapeau) since they added an embroidery and hat area to the Circus area.
Sadly after DH got into a fender bender, it's not looking like we will be able to do out weekly Disney meal anymore! I hate how much it costs to fix cars!!!

Aww. I was going to say I kinda hate you because your going out meal is in the MK, but then I read the rest of your post. I agree broken cars are awful!! My fingers are still crossed that I get a few more months out of mine before it goes kaput. Hope DH is okay!!!

The food at the Plaza looks like it was delicious! What a pretty little spot. :goodvibes

A hidden gem, as one might say. :)

I don't know if they choose girls for Jr.Mayor.....I don't see why not!!

Maybe they just seek out someone having a birthday or special celebration or something and let them do it? On that day, it was that little boy.

If it happens, I guess we will have to get used to it. I bet Starbucks will thrill a lot of people who don't really care a thing about what Main Street Bakery feels like. Maybe they will put it somewhere else, though.

So sorry about that wreck. :(

It does seem like there might be a place that's not being used that they could sneak that Starbucks in. ::yes::

I say my thanks for my car every day! :goodvibes It's old, but it is running. :thumbsup2

We came upon the castle show, which Bella loves!

I don't know where we are going. I am remembering as I put the pictures up.

Maybe we're going to see 'Muppet, the Frog', as Bella calls it.

No, maybe we are just walking.

I took pictures of Pizza Planet.

That's it for tonight. Stay safe and warm and dry, friends. We feel so bad for the people up north who are getting hit with snow right on the heels of Sandy. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Hmmmm, I feel like having a pizza.
Ok
Then let's go to pizza planet.
Now wouldn't that be the life!

Taking a walk around DHS is a lovely distraction from the snow falling outside my window. We're supposed to get at least 6 inches, and its only the first week of Nov! :faint: I need to get back down south, stat!

Disney pizza is not my favorite, but DH loves it, so I've been to Pizza planet more times than I would like. Luckily they usually have a salad to appease those looking for something a little different.

Looking forward to seeing where you head next!

Now I want pizza.::yes:: I think this was the first trip in awhile that I haven't had pizza planet! It is pretty good and sitting upstairs is usually pretty quiet which can be a nice break!

Art Of Animation looks so cool! We got a quick peek while on the way to CSR as it was the first stop on our ME bus and then us girls snuck off to check it out at one point because their family will likely stay there on their next trip since little Elle will soon be too big for her pack'n'play!

"Muppet the Frog"!!! She must know my nephew. On this trip the kids saw MuppetVision 3D for the first time and Kai fell in love with Kermit. Auntie Stacy bought him a stuffed one for an early birthday present and he has been carrying it around everywhere. However, he does not call him "Kermit", and he freaks if you call him "Kermie"!! Oh no, his new name is "Hermick", sometimes "Hermit" :lmao: Cracked us all up! And "Hermick/Hermit" was introduced to every character and bystander available! He even got his own Mickey stickers to wear!

Yeah, I guess thedonduck can tell us all about that, since she can just zoom over there any time she wants in real life! When you make your Celebration move, you will know, too.

You are gonna have a MIL apartment in your house that can be rented out a few times a year, aren't you? :rolleyes1 I mean, with all the DISers you know that will be coming that way, you could have a steady extra income with it. :)

Of course, you would have to actually charge for it to make that happen, which seems to go against your nature. ;)

Yes, you do need to get further south! ::yes:: I was miserable last night just thinking about the people up there who still have no power. At least some have fireplaces, so that is a help, but still, it's nothing like normal.

Not my favorite pizza either, but when I put it with a salad, it helps it out. The company and the atmosphere make it nice. :goodvibes

I'm looking forward to seeing where we are heading next, too. It's kind of fun to just start putting up the pictures without looking ahead.

So cute! Love these sweet little kids and the joy they add to our lives!

As much as I don't want to pay the high prices, I think that we will be doing some suite time soon, too. With three little girls now, even on girl trips we will need some more space. We've always been fortunate enought to get connecting rooms, but if it ever happens that they can't work that out for us, that will be a sign that we need to check out the suites, I think. I think I would prefer Music suites, though, because of the door opening to the outside.

Muppet the Frog! Love it!! :goodvibes

We only ended up getting around 2-3 inches of snow here, not too terrible. I have to go clean my car off in a few minutes to leave for work, which is never a fun effect of the snow! :crazy2:
