I'm a little late responded on the boards. This picture is a great representation of the relief I imagine you felt!

I'm thrilled that you are getting back to trip reporting. It means that things are indeed getting back to normal.

My report is paralleling your Epcot adventures...We have some similar and different shots!

Thanks for the shopping trip in Morocco!

Morocco is so pretty! Everytime I read TRs I long to go back with my little one. If only I could convince DH. :rotfl:

That picture of the three girls melts my heart. I'm so happy you continue to recover. Jill, you are so strong and I admire you as a mother.

We never seem to spend much time in Morocco, but Baylor loves to get his groove on with Mo' Rockin! It was fun touring with you!

I have to giggle at the belly dancing costumes, because a teacher at my school has started taking belly dancing lessons. I. Can't. Imagine....

Love the pic of the 3 girls.

Great update and pics.

I need to explore Morocco more. The menu looked good and pricey. :rotfl2:

Those are cute camels in the Morocco shop -- I might need a couple of them to keep my giraffes company. Camels and giraffes seem like a legitimate collection. ::yes::

It's been a few years, but I remember being scared I wouldn't remember my locker combination!!! Hope Lexi has a great first day!

Its been many, many, many years since I had those same fears too. :lmao:

She had a great day and she was so proud she remembered her combo.

(we did have the combo numbers hidden in her pencil case...just in case. :ssst:)

She did come home asking for stuff to decorate her locker.
I tried to tell her in advance of all the cool things she could do to decorate her locker inside with mirrors, shelves and pictures/posters etc.
She thought I was crazy...I told her to remember Mothers are always right! :rotfl2:

Wild Wednesday for me...woke up too early (sppoky dream - note to self - no scary movies at night when you live alone!), huge shipment and too many projects to do at work, late dinner and then off to a documentary screening! Too little time in the day today!

Boy, can I relate to being busy at work...havn't stopped since I got back from WDW.
Huge shipments are not going to go away for awhile so i guess we have to get used to it.

Gotta love working in retail during the holidays and leading up to them. :rotfl:

Did we pick a meet date? We need to set that and other meets up!

Hi, MeMom! No, we didn't pick a meet date but it would be really great if we could work something out..:goodvibes .My dates are oct 3 - oct 12. We are staying at Pop. Please let me now if you have any suggestions :thumbsup2. Hope everything is fine with your girls :) . Take care, Tania.

Just thought I would share a picture with all of my Distown friends.

I just want to say "thank you" for all the overwhelming kindness shown to me and my family over the past two weeks. Sweet cards, texts, messages, and phone calls just to lend moral support and let us know we are being uplifted in prayer as I continue recovering.

:lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc Looovely picture!! Thanks for sharing! I'm so glad everything is ok with you! :goodvibes

So glad to see y'all back here! Hope Jill is recovering well!
Its amazing how we all have such a bond thru a common love! I'm excited to know I have a "DIS Family"! Its nice to know you always have someone looking out for you, praying for you and sharing life with you. Nothing like a Disney bond!! :grouphug:

I love Aladdin and Jasmine! The girls are too precious with them!

How fun wandering around the WS. Wish I was doing that right now!

Great pictures with Aladdin and Jasmine. Enjoyed the tour of Morocco.

Loved the picture of the 3 girls!

I choose Wacky Wednesday! (but wacky in a good way!!)

I need to just slow down at the WS and spend more time in each country so I can really see them. Perhaps this trip, since there's no little kids or impatient adults we can stroll leisurely.

It is not easy to really see all of the World Showcase stuff with little ones. I am interested in all of the mini-museums and displays, and I like to read all of the information, but Brooklynn and Bella don't care about that stuff. Brooklynn does like some of it now, like the Tomb Warriors in China, but for the most part, they want to be seeing characters or animals or riding rides, of course.

Morning friends!

Jill, its great to hear you are slowly getting back your health and doing some routine things again.
I just luv the pic of the 3 girls together...just precious!
Take Care. I'm so happy you are doing better.

It's nice to see the Disney pics again. Your pics always put a smile on my face.

I would not be very happy if "someone" stole my LeCellier ADR either.
The Canada gardens are petty...love the big willow tree.
Did I ever tell you that we saw Micky Dolenz from 'The Monkeys' doing an interview on the grass there, during our May trip. He had a concert that night for the Flower Power Concert Series.
Lexi thought it was funny that he was wearing all black from head to toe on such a hot day. I told her that a lot of rock stars do that.

Morocco is fun to check out...I havn't tried any food from there. Those desserts look yummy!

We had it on our list to eat at the Liberty Inn, in the America Pavillion.
Never made it there or Sunshine Seasons this past trip.

I'm sure you would rather be with your girls...but its nice to see you back at school. I'm sure the students are happy to have you back.

My kids went back to school yesterday and Lexi was nervous but excited to start Middle school.
She must have practiced opening her first combination lock a dozen times before she got it right.

Enjoy the day!
I choose WONDERFUL day...cause I had WILD yesterday.

I saw Mickey Dolenz doing a short interview in a video recently. Maybe it was the same one. Maybe you are in the background. ;)

I hated those number locks in junior high school! :headache:

Have a fantastic school year, Lexi!!!

We actually checked into your favorite place Pop on the day Sophie came into this world! We love it there too. Checked out AoA and took lots of pictues. It was cute, love the Nemo pool.

Makes me smile to think about all the happiness that was wrapped up in that day. :)

How long was the line for Jasmine and Aladdin? When we went it was the longest line we waiting in. Aladdin is my niece's favorite and one of her requests. I have to say your Aladdin look very authentic.

Very sweet of the girls to sent birthday wishes from the park.

I love all the detail pictures you took here. So many things I've never seen. I'll have to look more closely next time.

I don't remember it being long, so I guess it wasn't.

Morocco is a place you really can walk around in and feel like you are somewhere else. There are lots of little 'nooks and crannies' back in there.

It's been a few years, but I remember being scared I wouldn't remember my locker combination!!! Hope Lexi has a great first day!

It's been more than a few years for me, but I remember not liking those stupid locks.

I am so glad Jill is on the mend and that Sophie is doing well :)!!! I love your pictures of Morocco and can't wait to go explore the countries more than we have on previous trips!!!

There is much to see. Every visit, I see more and more. It would really take weeks to do World Showcase thoroughly.

Perfect way to try it and see if you like it!

Gorgeous morroco pictures and I'm loving the girls with Jasmine and Aladdin!

I remember covering my camera off and on as I walked around because of the rain. I'm surprised I don't have water spots on all the pictures.

Sooo happy that Jill is up and around and things are returning to normal!!!

Love your update - at least it looks like you got a little time without the rain

We are down to single digits  :dance3: :yay:

Yay for single digits! :cool1: We are at four weeks!

Cool Morocco pictures! I've been a little ways in there, but haven't seen all of it.

So sad I will miss seeing you in October. We don't arrive until evening on the 13th (hopefully around supper time!). Can't you stay one more day??? You could come visit us at Jambo!! Yeah, didn't think so.
Oh well...maybe some other time.

I wish we could, but I have to admit that it is good to have one day to regroup and relax before we get back to school. I do hate that we will cross paths in transit. :(

I am so glad to see both MeMom and Jill posting again. Missed you guys and so happy things are getting back to normal, as they should be.

Beautiful Morocco pictures. Love them!

Wild Wednesday here!

Yes, ma'am, normal is a very good thing. ::yes::

Cute pictures with Aladdin and Jasmine! That's an attractive Aladdin, for sure.

Morocco has such a cool feel to it.

Bella only likes the Disney Princesses. When their fellas come along, she is usually found on the opposite side of them peering around cautiously.

Aw, that pic of the three girls is adorable! I'm glad things are looking up.

Those WS pics are incredible, I haven't really explored into Morocco, it's clearly something I need to do next time!!

Things are looking up. Jill got a good report at the doctor's visit today, as did Sophie.

Two weeks away and then a few more days to catch up with things at home means that I'd got twenty-something pages behind and to say I'd missed an awful lot of news would be an understatement!
Glad Jill is safely on the road to recovery now

You definitely missed a lot! Hope you had a great two weeks!

I saw the pic of the girls on FB but I just had to comment here, too. PRECIOUS!!!

Thank you for the pictures of Morocco. It's my absolute favorite pavilion at WS. I could sit there all day, take in the beautiful scenery, people watch and eat baklava and be in my own little heaven!

That Aladdin must have made his permanent home in Morocco. I've met him twice myself there since 2008 and I see him in pictures all the time. He's a good Aladdin though!

I have had the pistachio baklava. It was good, but very, very, very sweet!

Morocco is certainly well-done. It will be interesting to see what happens if we ever get another country. I'm ready for one!

Oh dear! I haven't been on Dis for almost two weeks and now here I sit bawling like a baby cause I was scared for Jill and then relieved! After all this I may never be able to miss a day on Dis again. Continued prayers for Jills recovery.

We can just hope that if you do miss a day or two or ten, drama will not be something you come back to! ::yes:: Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. :goodvibes

The Morocco pavilion really is beautiful. I love the immersive themeing there!

Yes, it is. That's as close to Morocco as I will ever get, for sure.

What cute pictures of the girls with Aladdin and Jasmine! :goodvibes And I often wind up eating at the American pavillion in WS too...It's a good spot for those of us who are picky eaters and need something quick! I too will be spending naptime alone in the parks soon - with only a 5 day trip I can't waste any time! Sounds like you had a nice, peaceful afternoon!

The picture of Brooklynn, Bella and Sophie is so precious! I love it! Super cute!

Wild Wednesday for me...woke up too early (sppoky dream - note to self - no scary movies at night when you live alone! ), huge shipment and too many projects to do at work, late dinner and then off to a documentary screening! Too little time in the day today!

I do not watch scary movies of any kind.
No, no, no!

American food is 'safe', but when I am in Disney World, I like to try new things.

My Tuesday was trying. It was one of those days where it seemed everyone had lost their mind. Repetitive questions and too many "Whys"

Add into that the fact I live in Charlotte NC and yes the city seems like it is on lockdown and everyone is a little squirrely

Wednesday was a bit wonderous. Thursday may be Thrilling.

So.....was it thrilling? My Thursday was th-th-th-busy! :upsidedow

That is such a great picture your your three little treasures together. They are all so beautiful.

Bella should think about getting into the culinary arts with her yogurt covered cookie.

Beautiful pictures of Morocco. Definitely my favorite pavilion architecturally.

I don't know if I can wait two more weeks to see those girls again! Sophie will have changed so much.

I saw yours! We do have some of the same ones. I can't remember if I commented or just scrolled though and thought I'd come back when there was more time. I'll have to go see.

Morocco is so pretty! Everytime I read TRs I long to go back with my little one. If only I could convince DH. :rotfl:

Keep plating the seed in his mind, and it will grow. But, he's a guy, so you have to make him think it was his idea. :rolleyes1

That picture of the three girls melts my heart. I'm so happy you continue to recover. Jill, you are so strong and I admire you as a mother.

She is getting stronger. She had a long day today with two doctor visits, so she needs to do nothing tonight.

We never seem to spend much time in Morocco, but Baylor loves to get his groove on with Mo' Rockin! It was fun touring with you!

I have to giggle at the belly dancing costumes, because a teacher at my school has started taking belly dancing lessons. I. Can't. Imagine....

Mo Rockin' and then some more music time over in the UK/Canada area, right?

Love the pic of the 3 girls.

Great update and pics.

I need to explore Morocco more. The menu looked good and pricey. :rotfl2:

I thought it was a bit expensive, too, but I am not too familiar with the going price of lamb.

Those are cute camels in the Morocco shop -- I might need a couple of them to keep my giraffes company. Camels and giraffes seem like a legitimate collection.

I can't tell you how often I think of you when I am at AK or AKL, but it is every time I see a giraffe.

Its been many, many, many years since I had those same fears too.

Good idea to have the back-up number in the pencil case. ;)

Does she have any Disney representation in that locker???

Boy, can I relate to being busy at work...havn't stopped since I got back from WDW.
Huge shipments are not going to go away for awhile so i guess we have to get used to it.

Gotta love working in retail during the holidays and leading up to them. :rotfl:

During the holidays, I'd rather be a teacher than a sales clerk. :) Enjoy your off days between those busy work days!

We'll be at Pop, so a meet will happen, but I want you to also meet other DISers, so we will let you know if we have others going on between the 5th (our arrival day) and 12th. Do you have a picture you can send so we'll know better who we are lookign for? We might walk right by you and not even know!

:grouphug:

We are so happy to have our very special DIS family! :thumbsup2

I love Aladdin and Jasmine! The girls are too precious with them!

How fun wandering around the WS. Wish I was doing that right now!

If we lived closer, we could meet for evening walks around World Showcase. I can make myself walk down there so much better than I do here.

Great pictures with Aladdin and Jasmine. Enjoyed the tour of Morocco.

Loved the picture of the 3 girls!

Thanks. I sure love seeing that picture of those happy girls!

Love the pics of Morocco.:thumbsup2 I just love going through all the countries.

I know - there is much to see and learn, and since it is highly unlikely I will get to any of those places in my lifetime, it's as close to going international as I will ever get.

Bella only likes the Disney Princesses. When their fellas come along, she is usually found on the opposite side of them peering around cautiously.
That is too funny! In about 10 years, she'll care more about their fellas. I used to adore Wendy, but now I'd rather her not be there when I meet Peter Pan, so I can have him all to myself.
Glad to hear things went well at the doctor today for Jill and Sophie. How are the girls doing with their new baby sister? :goodvibes

My husband loves to eat in Morocco...the rest of us not so much. He will go to Morocco, B and I to the uk for fish and chips and J looks for nuggets and fries...some things never change. Last trip we said more time in the WS, but it didn't happen. This year, we are going to really try :)

Glad there were good reports from the doc today. Hope all is well with school...bet your students missed you :)

I have to giggle at the belly dancing costumes, because a teacher at my school has started taking belly dancing lessons. I. Can't. Imagine....

I used to work at place that had belly dancing classes.
Lets just say that the belly dancers in EPCOT are so much better.

I did have a sight watching the GUYS belly dance--- yes I said guys.:eek: NOT PRETTY

So.....was it thrilling? My Thursday was th-th-th-busy! :upsidedow

Today was "team building day" With the city on lockdown and 2 of 3 of our facilities closed since they are in the vicinty of the arena the convention is being held, we chose today to do our annual team buidling. We went to play paintball. It was a bit humid and sticky but overall better than being in the office. :rolleyes1
