So very happy to hear that Jill is heading down a path of healing!!! The PRBC should help her feel less tired/washed out and the antibiotics and breathing treatments will help her lungs expand more easily and get rid of the gunk! :

Lap Cholecystectomies seem minor on the outside, but are major surgery!! I've had to tell many of my patients, that even though they don't look as if they had major surgery, they did!!

Open chole's are even more major as you have a large incision that has to heal!

Lots of continued prayers for you all and I am so happy that Sophie's delivery went well and that she is in her MeMom's loving arms and will soon get to see her Mommy!! I hope Brooklyn and Bella are doing well also!!

Memom my heart breaks for you and your family, i feel like i know all of you, i have been following your trip reports from the begining when Brooklyn was a baby, i do not really post much but your trip reports have given me much joy i always look foward to reading them. I hope Jill will have a speedy recovery and everything will so go back to normal. I have been praying for you and Jill for you to be strong in this difficult and heartbreaking time and for Jill to be strong to fight and recover quickly.

We were busy this weekend moving Cody into college so I cannot tell you how shocked I was when I went on FB & saw all the posts about Jill. Thank God she went to the hospital when she did!!

I am so sorry you are all going through all of this. It should be such a happy time with little Sophie entering the world. I am sending so many thoughts & prayers all your way & you have to know there are many more where that came from. You have so many people in Distown that truly care about you all & so many of us that wish we could be there for you in person. Please know that we would be there if we could.

I will now be checking FB often for current updates on how Jill is feeling. Hopefully she is resting peacefully & will hear good news in the morning.

Wow, i just finally had some time to dis. How fun your trip report started.
Sophie came! Congrats to the new mommy and daddy and sisters!
I am so hearsick for Jill. And the family.
I think the one thing saving me being so torn is that in the years to come when you ask Sophie how she felt when her mommy was in the hospital after she was born, her reply will forever be "loved".

Moving Jill to a regular room this am, if all goes perfectly well, home on Friday!!!
Dawn posted a great pictre of Jill holding Sophie with a BIG smile!!! Made me cry to see it!!!

Caren - you are amazing!!! Jill, John and the girls are sooooo lucky to have you!!! I too, was in tears.

I was never so happy to go home from work yesterday and hug and kiss my girls! So sad that it takes a crisis sometimes for us to remember how truly blessed we are.
