I don't know how I made this mistake..

Ok, friends and neighbors, lament with me for a minute will you......

It was such a beautiful plan....our school district has alligned the days off at the end of the grading period with Halloween. I've always wanted to go the MNSSHP and now we have a 4 day weekend to go. We'd fly down Saturday and do the party that night and have 2 more days in the parks and come home on Tuesday.

So the flight coming home was cheap and I bought those quickly. But the Flight down didnt get us in until 7pm, which is too late to go to the party, so I searched and searched and finally bought tickets out of another airport to go down on Saturday and get in by 2. Tricky to work out the lagistics, but no big deal. Get to the hotel by 4 and walk over to MK by 5 for the party.

I went online the buy the party tickets....THERE'S NO PARTY ON SATURDAY NIGHT!!!!! It never even occurred to me that they would have the party on Saturday! What kind of rookie mistake was that?!?

OUCH!That really stinks and is something that I'll probably do myself some day. I get too excited about things and sometimes jump a little too soon. Too bad you'll miss the party - but 3 days at WDW is still a great time!

Just do MNSSHP on Halloween (Sunday night) instead. It's a little more $, but sounds like your only option to do the party.

There's a party on 10/31 & 11/1, you should be able to hit one of those.

Oh we're going to the party on another night. We're just going in and out of 2 different airports to make the non-existant one on Saturday.

I made my DVC ressie at Christmas then checked airfare and found the price to be double what it normally was. Had to cancel the villa, and since I had to use the points or lose them, I'll make a trip down in the summer instead - not all bad.

You did end up with an extra 5 ish hours at DW.. I'd switch air ports to be there the night instead of the afternoon at home
