I just called my best friend and told her we are going to disney this summer and she was all excited. Then she asked if we are staying in the cheap hotel (the movies one that I like or the big one she seems to hate) and I told her that my husband gave us the grand floridian as a gift.
Now she's really excited. She said somethink like ' you'll like that better because they always argue that pop is like staying at wal-mart.'
Well, I like wal-mart. Now I am hoping I won't feel out of place at the expensive hotel.
Is that what she meant by pop is wal-mart?
I am so damn confused it's not funny.
(note to my husband- surprising me with a trip is a bad idea, it stresses me out!)

I didn't even bother to ask her what she meant by that. ugh.

Of course, she says it with love.
Ignore the elitist talk from the peanut gallery. I find that when people feel the need to say that they can "only" stay here or there its not about Disney, it's about something else. Most people who can stay anywhere they want stay anywhere they want and don't bother talking about it. Don't explain, enjoy
So go, have a great time, and enjoy the beautiful lobby and the great people watching and have a fabulous WDW vacation because everyone else is there for the same reason. The GF is the "flagship" for the WDW resorts, and its atmosphere can't be beat.
