And in that case you would definitely have been entitled to some consideration. The website doesn't say what the guarantee provides for, though. Does anyone know? Is it a partial or total refund of the cost of shipping?

Right, but that consideration would have consisted of a refund. They can't magically make the package appear at my family's doorstep and had I have not went to UPS and had a nice man that went and found it, it would have been back on a truck and scheduled for delivery next Wednesday. That would have been the same scenario had it have been shipped via ground "scheduled" delivery since those misrouted packages all end up back in the same trailer at the hub.

Actually, your not correct. If it was guarantee'd I'm 99% positive EVEN with the wrong routing, it would have made it...you'd be amazed at what ups men and women will do when they realize somethings not going to make it on time- hence the guy who went and looked....he didnt "have" too

We will just have to agree to disagree because I'm going on what the gentlemen told me at UPS.

Its not just UPS. I just spent 3 days waiting at home for Fed EXpress to deliver a package to me. Each day I was home, and watched , waited, never heard of saw them. Just delivered it a few minutes ago so I finally got it. I spent a lot of time looking out of the window today to make sure I saw him.
