Be nice. this is my first trip report ever. I originally wrote this last week, hit the wrong key and it was GONE :rotfl2: So, I'm trying it again.

Cast: me (31), full-time paralegal and mom to four kids-three biological and I married my oldest; DH 32 (hence my 4th kid); dd8; ds7 and ds15 months

First, let's start by saying this was a surprise trip which I planned to celebrate my ds7th bday. We celebrated my dd's 7 bday in Disney, so I made a new tradition (I have lots of traditions you'll notice). After speaking with a friend who happened to be going to Orlando at the same time I took the plunge and booked the trip. Due to miscommunications with said friend we ended up on different flights. Here's a sampling of the conversation:

Me: What flight are you on?
Friend: The one that leaves about 8:00 and lands about 1:00

Me: Is is Flight Number ----?
Friend: Yeah, I think so.

Well, come to find out we were one different flights one hour apart. Then, because I didn't buy DH's ticket when I bought the others I needed to switch all my tickets to the first flight of the day (another tradition).

So, the night before we leave DH has all the bags packed and "hidden" under a throw blanket in the bed room, Not very obvious! I leave to take the dog to the groomer's for a "bath" at 7:00 p.m. at night. DD8 looks into the bedroom, then into my closet where the carry on bags are and looks at me funny. She's seen me packing, but knows that "we'll be going to Disney one day". She also knows that I am usually super organized and prepared for everything, so that doesn' seem out of place. However, she just looked at me like "Why are there 6 pieces of luggage under a blanket". DH and I looked at each other and nod to each other, then tell her "Hey, let's go to Disney tomorrow". At first she didn't beleive us, knowing that we like to joke, but after calling her best friends (my friend's kids) to confirm she begins SCREAMING and dancing like this :Pinkbounc . She goes running upstairs to let DS7 know that were going to Disney in the morning!! He gets very upset because she is yelling so loudly he can't understand her!.

The morning we leave we need to be up and out by 4:30 (my estimate). We get up, get dressed, stop for coffee at the local convenience store, the clerk is thrilled to see dd8 because she's kept the secret for so long too.

We get to the airport with no traffic (hey, after all it's 4:30 in the morning). We quickly get our car parked, loaded onto the shuttle and off to the airport. No problems in getting through security, even without having a boarding pass for ds15 months. I get through the metal dectors without a problem this time (last time we went I had to be searched and my bags searched). The flight left on time, wasn't overly full and landed 1/2 hour early! The magic begins. ALso, while on the plane the attendants gave us ds7 a handful of McDonald's $1.00 gift cards, because everyone he met he told it was his birthday. Needless to say since he lives on McD's he was thrilled.

We quickly got our bags, stopped to feed ds 15 months some food and were off to find Magic Express. There was absoutely no line for the check-in and our bus was waiting, even though we were 1/2 early! MAGIC.

Our bus left maybe 10 minutes later and went directly to our hotel, Pop Century. I was a little disappointed because I usually like to see the other hotels, but here we are!

By this time it is only about 11:15 and there is no line again for check-in at the hotel. I leave DH and the kids in the kiddie area and check-in. I was a little nervous because I had major problems with the reservations. The CM left my dd8 off all my reservations and then didn't include the plus feature on the tickets. But, I had resolved that about a month before leaving home.

Check-in was quick and easy. THe CM actually asked me if I had a preference to where we stayed. I requested the 70's ahd the first floor. Magic. that is exactly what was available. Next I requested a crib for the baby. I had expected to have to pay in the neighborhood of $10-15 per night for this, but No Charge.

I grabbed the kiddo's and DH and headed to the FOod Court to buy our mugs and try the Dining Plan. As we headed to the Food Court a boy wheeled by on those "Heelie" shoes. It totally fit the atomosphere. Check-in was complete magic-AGAIN.

While DH picked out mugs I had ADR for Chef Mickey for that night. We had lunch at Pop. I had parmesan crusted chicken, I think DH had a double cheeseburger with cheese fries, kids probably had chicken fingers, although DS might not have eaten. We all had desserts. Everything was very good.
After a quick walk to view the pool we headed to our room.

Well, that's enough for now, I'll update soon, including what I thought was some type of secret plot at the hotel and my ds's scary fall. Tune in for more. It get's funny I promise.

I can't wait to hear more. I love when we keep it a secert from the kids. I did it twice to my DD. I hope the baby didn't get hurt.

You think you need to start getting funny, you nearly gave me a heart-attack when you said you married your oldest child and come to find out it was your husband. :rotfl2:

I'm a little confused, it sounds like this is the 1st time you are going with your children, or am I mistaken,
