It is blasphemy to even ask such a question about restaurants!!
I make all newbies go to Le Cellier and then I force feed them the filet mignon subbing the mashed potatoes for the risotto.
They do not get a choice.
End of story.
And so it must be.
And they shall thank me for it.

I have never been to Narcoosee's so I guess it is unfair for me to judge but I totally agree with this!! And the Chedder Soup is very good too! My teens insist we go every trip and this past June we did not...I got this from them. So I guess next trip it is back to Le Cellier!

I am with the F&G pictures! Awesome job! I love Epcot during F&G! Too bad the Davy Jones concert was subpar! We saw him in '09 and it was pretty good. The "lost" picture was hysterical and made me laugh out loud...not good at work!! And back to the pictures...the DHS night shots were awesome too!

Great update!! I'm jealous looking at the clear rain-free pictures, everything looks so beautiful. We went to HS 2 days on our last trip and it rained most of the day. I am glad we made the best of it, but now that I look back on it, what a disappointment!! I have never in my years on disboards ever read a TR where it rained every day. so lets hope that was the end of THAT!!

Thank you I'm sorry to hear you had rainy days! Knock on wood, we've been really lucky with dry weather on our visits.

Finally Monday May 9th

My mom was up early to make ADRs for a client while my dad and I headed to the gym

I love SSRs gym! It had great machines and ice water with lemon in it! I ended up going every morning we were there and the people remembered my name by the time we left The only difference from this one than the other ones I have been to is you need your room key with you and you have to leave it at the desk when you check in

After my dad and I were done with the gym we headed back to get ready. My parents were ready first so they headed to Artist's Palette to grab breakfast and bring it back.

The food was so good!

I got a bit bored waiting for everyone so I took pictures around the room

After we were all ready we headed on a bus to DTD!

Our first store was the art store! I love looking around in here at all of the artwork! My house will have a lot of these someday

We then went into the Little Missmatched store which we had never been in!

I love the new area and ended up getting two pairs of sandals! They were buy two for $20 and one pair alone was close to $20

My mom had something to pick up at TrenD! My mom bought her purse while I looked through the store.
My mom got a great deal on the purse with her Disney Chase Visa discount and she used our rewards. With those savings she got the purse for half the price! I just love this store but I didn't find anything I absolutely had to have so after my mom chose her print we headed out.

She got the red and blue design.

Next it was World of Disney where we spent quite a bit of time browsing!

I loved this bag but it was super expensive and almost as big as me so I settled for a picture

After that it was time to hit up the Lego store for my dad

He didn't end up getting anything but I got a keychain to remember my meet with Chewbacca by

The little artist was from a mystery pack and I was hoping to get the zombie but there is always next time!

We continued on our way to Disney Quest!

I wasn't too impressed by this place when I went on our last trip but we thought it might be something fun to try out again and my dad would like it.

Well when we got there, there were tons of school children lined up outside Luckily we got in before them and my mom and I headed for our first ride on the Jungle Cruise. We had a lot of fun but once we were off I asked what happened to dad She said he was a big boy and probably got distracted by one of the games. Well we headed back to the entrance just in case. Turns out his ticket had messed up and they wouldn't let him in The CMs had taken his ticket to go check out what was wrong with it and it turns out it was so messed up they would have to work to try and make him a new one My mom and I walked out of DQ and decided dad could get this fixed later we had an ADR to get to soon. Well it turns out that the CMs had already begun work on his ticket and wouldn't give it back They also took my ticket because mine and his were supposed to be the same. My mom and I left pretty upset! She was the only one that had a ticket and with a DHS ADR we needed all three to get in! Well after another 15 minutes of waiting I called the ADR line to see if there was anything we could do. We had an ADR at Mama Melrose's with the Fantasmic package and we knew we would be charged if we didn't show up.The only thing we could do was change the reservation but there weren't any available days in August Despite telling them the issues they still said we would end up charged for the meal. So our only option was canceling (luckily we were never charged) and decided on a snack.

These were amazing!!!! We don't usually like pretzel places like this at home but these were so good!! I think we may stop back here again in August!

I also picked up a vinylmation pin set hoping to get Mr. Penguin because of my love for penguins but figured with how this day was going I wouldn't get it.

Well thank goodness for pixie dust!!!!!!


After another 15 minutes my dad finally came back with his ticket and everything was okay! We missed our ADR so we decided we would eat at DTD and headed to Raglan Road.

My dad started with the mushroom soup I think

I had the ribs which were amazing! I really want to go back here on our next trip after I am 21

My mom had the fish and chips which she also enjoyed

My dad had the shepherd's pie which he enjoyed as well

We all loved the service and food and will be heading back here again! Not on our August trip but definitely on the one after that!

Now it was time to head back to the resort and see what the rest of the day brought us!

Yea we didn't feel like walking to the main building again to ride the boat and only one section is within walking distance of DTD

I guess Im just a spoiled SSR guest then We were in the section closest to DTD when we were there, they say that the walkway is a 15 minute walk from there...that's a joke! Its a five minute walk top, you could actually get to DTD faster then the main part of the resort.

Yeah when we booked we assumed every part of Saratoga was within walking distance but we ended up in Grandstand which I think was on the other side of the resort from the area that is within walking distance We were just lazy and we were right next to the bus stop so that's where we headed

Idk I know at a couple of the other hotels you need to have them if you go in before the gym is officially opened but there were people working so Idk. When my dad and I went we would check in with only one card so that can't be the case.

Wow... ticket issues would make me very nervous on my vacation. And it seems like it didn't just stop at Disney Quest.
Double with missing F! Pk at MM would be very stressful at the time. I know that it shouldn't ruin the vacation itself but it would really bother me... since I like my vacation at Dinsey to go smooth as possible. But then again, I'm little control freak when it comes to Disney! I've never ventured into little mismatched.... Are those flip-flops comfortable? They look very cool! 2 for $20 sounds very reasonable....
Would love to try Raglan Road... once DS grows up little more. I don't feel comfortable taking him there yet. He doesn't yet understand adult beverages.
