Hi All! As you can see from my ticker, we only have 6 more days!!!!!!

WOO HOO to less than a week!

We have some surprises planned that I can't wait to share with you all when we get back. It should be an interesting TR

I'm not sure if we've mentioned this but SSR is one of those resorts (yes Port Orleans I mean you too) that IMO you need a car if you're staying there.

Interesting. We had nothing but good luck with the buses when we stayed at POR.

We passed Pooh

Passing, okay. Stepping in it, not okay... Oh! You mean Winnie the Pooh... my bad.

And then we caught sight of the Beast's castle

That's just cool. I had no idea that a new castle was going up. Knew about the new coaster, restaurant, meet n greet but not the castle. How'd I miss that little tidbit of info???

She is practically perfect in every way!

Yes she certainly is. And you can see it in the photo too when she poses with Mary Poppins. Oh, and I think Mary Poppins is practically perfect too.

At this point Caitlin was finally nearing the front of the Dumbo queue

All that shopping wore us out so we decided to take a relaxing jungle cruise

Oh my gosh! Weren't you terrified when he turned around like that instead of watching where he was going?

Now if you've noticed, Dale doesn't get in many character pics. When he saw "Angelica" he was more than happy to get his picture taken! (and look at that smile! he was a happy boy )

Wait! Let me guess. Now he wants to take a pic with Ariel with her cross your heart sea shells and Jasmine with her navel?

Great pics of MK guys! Hadn't seen some of those spots before... at least not in pictures that I can recall. Thanks for the update!

We will be in Disney soon!!! We leave Monday so we are all busy doing last minute errands We are all packed (although I had to pack for Josh because he said he was going to pack Sunday newbie) and we are all saying "This time next week.."! We do need some pixie dust though! They are calling for rain a few days while we are there so we need pixie dust to either keep the rain showers short or get rid of them completely I am not sure how well pixie dust works with weather so I would take either Oh and I recently discovered A&W mini corn dogs which are better than Casey's IMO!

Anyway back to our trip report (which we will definitely not finish before vacation but we will post two more times after this)!

We were on the monorail and enjoying the beautiful sights!

We were on our way to Kona for lunch! I absolutely love this restaurant for breakfast so I thought trying it out for lunch would be a good idea

Of course we had to take pictures of the beautiful Poly before we got to lunch!

We ordered our drinks and my dad had a DISboard favorite!

I had a very yummy smoothie!

We started off with an order of wings which was much better than the ones at Ohana mainly because my parents didn't have to give up me their first born for one (Yeah we tried getting an ADR for there this trip and we did have one for me and my mom but with two more people there was no chance we were getting one. I have called every day for the past few weeks )

I had, had my eye on the steak for a long time because I love Teriyaki steak but I ended up going with the grilled chicken sandwich. I didn't think the heat and steak would end up feeling good on my stomach.

It was good I ate it all but I do need a redo for the steak!


My mom had the steak and absolutely loved it!

She just told me this was her favorite meal of the vacation!



My dad had chicken stir fry and loved it as well!

The waitress was great and overall the food plus service made this a must do for us! We will be going back for a DIS meet breakfast with QueenofallThings and her daughter Jasmine next Wednesday!

After our fantastic lunch we headed back to the Magic Kingdom to catch what we had missed out on. We were going to take the boat so of course we had to take pictures on our way out!

Finally after about 15 minutes our boat pulled up!

Once on the boat we did what we always do...TOOK PICTURES! Josh's mom told me to take a ton of pictures and I told her I would see what I could do

Once there my mom wanted to take my dad to see Mickey's new meet and greet area. We got split up though so I ended up going alone but a CM who thought I was cute gave me a tour of the area and let me take all the pictures I wanted!

That hotel is Tokyo Disney's version of TOT!

All of the stickers are from real Disney hotels!

These represent the other 3 parks! The crystal ball is Epcot, the hat is obvious and the tree is the Animal Kingdom!

You can never have too many gloves!

Another one in a room off of the dump shop

On our way to our favorite rides we stopped to be flirted with by a handsome fireman!

He called my mom my sister and told us he always looks better standing next to hot ladies The way to my heart is through compliments He also pointed my dad in the direction of the barbershop because he really needed a hair cut

After saying goodbye to my new vacation boyfriend we headed over to Buzz!

I am so excited to ride it next week! Josh said he and I can't ride it together because we are too competitive

Pretty decent score if I do say so myself!

Once we were done conquering the Evil Emperor Zurg (do you think he and Lotso have evil meetings where they decide how they can ruin the other toys?) we headed to Carousel of Progress!

I was the only one that watched the entire thing though

After my ride through time and my parents' nap we saw Chip and Dale!

Next we rode on Philharmagic!I just love this 3d show! I can watch it a million times and not get bored with it! Josh asked me what I am most excited about when it comes to Disney and I said the smell! The smell of fruit in this show is soo yummy!!!

We also went and used our FP for Peter Pan while we were in the area.


Next up was the wildest ride in the wilderness! Every time we ride this I think of the time my grandma went on it with us when I was little. She was so freaked out and we literally watched her hair turn white on this ride

Some clouds had rolled in so we decided it was a good time to grab some Dole Whip Floats and relax a bit.

We made it to a covering just in time and enjoyed our floats while we watched the mini rain shower.

After it cleared up we headed out of the park for some pool time!On our way out they were beginning the flag ceremony so we stopped to watch. This was very moving and we are hoping we can get Josh signed up for it next week!

Next up we have the Wishes dessert party, way too many pictures and the Magic Memories and You show!

Yeah I definitely had to take a picture of it when I was pointing out an HM and they were passed out

You need to try the float! It is so good! I definitely recommend getting it with the orange juice though because with the pineapple juice it is way to pineappley unless you love pineapple You have to make it a priority on your next trip!

I'll be waiting for your next trip report. I've never been to WDW in summer months. Our preferences are from Sept~April. But next year, we are doing our own version of Grand Gathering (since WDW discontinued Grand Gathering) duirng Aug/Sept over Labor Day weekend.
I'm very curious about the crowd, thunderstorms and heat.

It is such an awesome steak! I really need to get back there and try it out!

We had a great trip last year with low crowds and I think we will have low crowds again we just aren't sure how the weather will be Last year we had no rain and it was gorgeous and cool for the most part so hopefully we get that again!
