I didn't sleep at all last night

between taking my cat tomorrow to get her teeth cleaned, she has to be put to sleep and my trip to disney I didn't sleep at all. I am nervous about getting ally put to sleep to get her teeth cleaned and i am not so excited about my trip to disney. between the flight and Sars I could care less about going. help, smack me and tell me to stop feeling this way

I took my 16 year old, diabetic kitty to have two teeth removed and the rest cleaned. He was developing Sinus abscesses. He did great!!!!

Did you know that SARS is much less lethal than the flu? I heard this the other day. This is a media frenzy. And if you're in good health and come down with this, you'll feel pretty awful and get pretty sick, but you'll get better.

Gail, try not to worry at all right now. I am sure your kitty will be fine. I'm going to WDW just before you and not worried... that and they said today that the spread of SARS has peaked so keep that in mind too. Just plan that trip and have fun!

Your kitty will be fine. You are a responsible cat owner to have her teeth cleaned in the first place.

I took my dog in to the vet in Dec to have his teeth cleaned and they gave him the mildest dose of anesthia (sp) and he was rarely to go a couple hours after the cleaning. I am glad I took him in cuz the dentist found a couple loose teeth which had been irritating the dogs good teeth.

Your kitty will be just fine. I have taken both my dog and cat in for cleanings, and they are always fine. Maybe a little loopy from the anesthesia when you pick them up, but nothing serious.

Far more scary to me was my DD18months being put under anesthesia Sat night to remove the nickel she swallowed that got stuck in her esophogus! And yes, she is fine too!

Well my cat is home, $200.00 later she is herself. But her step mom (me) is a little blown over bye the $$$$$. didn't the vet know I am going to Disney.

One of my cats needs this but I've been putting it off since he tends to freak out so badly when we go to his vet. But $200?

I fibbed, it was really $197.00 but I was to lazy to type different numbers. That included the blood work. when I got there to the vets they said because she was under 6 yrs old I didn't have to do the blood work but in the next breath they said it is so they can make sure sshe isn't alergic to being put to sleep so off course I paid that $41.00 too.
