I didn't get any plastic

A nostalgia disappointment. This would sound totally bizarre to anyone but dissers, but I almost cried this year when I received my first documents from WDW with my reservation information and then the second set with my paid confirmation and it was all just paper I just loved the way we used to get this wonderful plastic envelope with our papers inside. It smelled just so incredible. It smelled like a WDW trip. I would take it out all the time while I was waiting for the final days before we left for a newtrip and just look at all the information and smell the plastic.

I was thunderstruck this year when all I received was paper and no wonderful Disney smelling plastic. So when I was going through my files the other day and pulled out my WDW file with all the memorabilia - like old receipts, water-spotted maps, you know,,,, and smelled that plastic it brought all the anticipation back.

I want my plastic! Why did they take away my plastic? Please don't tell me I am the only one who didn't get plastic this year - or the only one who cares...

OH NO!!!! No good smelly plastic?

To me, it smells kind of like the first day of school. I get that whole excited nervous kind of feeling in my tummy anticipating my trip.

I should be receiving my package in about 15 days, and I will be sadly dissapointed if I don't get my plastic.

I just love that good smelly plastic, sigh. That smell lasts for years in a file.... Does anyone know if they have stopped using it?

I picked up my package from AAA and I got the plastic folder smells wonderful!!! 22 more days

Im kinda confused...can someone explain to me this "new plastic" phenomenon?? This is my first time booking a trip to WDW thru AAA...seems as though i should anticipating something that i didnt even know about?!

Hi, You really are not missing anything, LOL. The plastic I am talking about is just a plastic envelope that encloses the package douments Disney sends out to people. I thought the early notifications outlining the package details and confirming payment used to be sent in the nice smelly plastic as well as the final package documents - and didn't get the plastic and was distraught.... but I get distraught, obviously, over little things.... I now have high hopes that when my final package documents arrive, they will arrive in nice smelly plastic!

hahah funny, because this sounds exactly like somethin i would like!! Now i just got even more excited... what "documents" actually come in it?! I get it excited just looking at my disney paperwork that says im actually going. I like being able to touch it and hold it
