I did some things on this trip I'd never done before!

I have been 20 times and planning in like 69 days for trip 21...I always manage to do stuff I've never done or haven't done in a LONG time. Trip 21 is in Dec....I've never been in Dec so the whole holiday thing will be new...this past trip the new stuff was:
Staying at CBR
Fantasmic
Wishes
Beauty and the Beast Show
Stars and Motor Cars parade
having a Towncar service pick us up at MCO
Blizzard Beach
and so much more....can't wait to see what Dec brings

I haven't been to WDW since my honeymoon. Now we are going for the first time with our kids. One thing I made sure to include in our trip itinerary was a ride on the monorail. I remember as a kid how cool I thought the monorail was. We are staying at WL which you would normally take the boat back to from MK so instead we will take the monorail to Contemporary and then boat to WL. I think my kids will really get a kick out of that.

hmm there are so many things...
MK-ride the train. Go to toontown. Tom Sawyer island. Keys to the Kingdom tour!
Epcot-visit Morocco. Eat at that Norway bakery-it looked so yummy. Eat at Alfredos. More pin trading. Ride Soarin 100 more times. Maybe do the walk around the world showcase tour
MGM-watch the performers. Eat at Brown Derby.
Visit AK-period. I didn't get to fit it in last time
Resort-watch that electric water show I've heard so much about. Spend more time enjoying the resort.
I'm sure there is more, but this is all I can think of for now. I can't wait to go back!

We/re going to do Stich(even though I read that it's the worst ever), Soarin(which we've done at DLR), and the car stunt show at the studios. Sometime it would be nice to relax at WDW ;) :earsboy:

I'll be going in November and there will be 9 of us going. Some who have been to the World and some who have not.

I love watching peoples expression when they first walk into MK.

This time there are quite a few firsts we are doing.
--Illuminations and have reserved an illuminations cruise.
--Fantasmic and we got the dinner package.
--Disney Quest
--Goofy's Barnstormer
--MK Train Ride all the way around
--Beauty & Beast Show

These are things that I haven't done in a long time and we plan on doing on this trip.
--ToonTown
--Country Bear Jamboree
--Spectro Magic
--MK 3pm Parade
--Tiki Birds

Things I plan on doing on for the first time on my Solo Trip January
--Play some Golf
--Keys to the Kingdom Tour
--Explore each country in Epcot at my own pace (Maybe Segway tour)
--Get up early everyone morning without having to try and get anyone else up
--Play some more golf

My last trip had some firsts, mainly due to some new attractions. We also ate at restaurants we had never been to before. Still want to do Hoop Dee Doo and try some new restaurants. Maybe Country Bear Jamboree, see the gorillas at AK. My wife wants to go to Sea World, but once we get on property we don't leave. Actually we never move our car, we let Disney transportation take us everywhere, it's part of the reality escape for us.

Has any one ever seen the lightd that shine on Cinderella's castle? I've looked for them but can't seem to find them.

I think they may only be in CA, not sure tho.

Yeah. THey ahve the lights in Disneyland too. But what I mean was, have you actually ever seen the light bublbs them selves? Not the ray of lights. lol. I've seen those plenty of times.

And another thing. I never used to stay and watch the fireworks before they had WISHES. Was the Fantasy in the Sky FireWorks as good as WISHES? I ahve the music to it on a soundtrack, but I've never seen the actual fireworks until WISHES. Wich are amazing!

our firsts will be hopefully the land tour( closed last trip due to soaring build), everest, soaring and maybe f&w. oh and the good night kiss thing never saw that...will have to hang around mk and not run for the buses :)

OMG! You are going to love it in Dec. If you love Christmas decorations, Christmas songs, etc., you will love it. I have only been to WDW 3 times and each time, it was in Dec. I will not go any other time, I love it!
We will be going back this Dec, also.
It just gives you a nice warm, Christmasy glow...is Christmasy a word?

Have a great time!!!

We try to plan new things every trip. This is trip #14 for me & I still have some new things to try....

New This Trip:

-DH & I will have 2.5 days ALONE in WDW before our sons & grandsons join us.
-Taking Grandsons for their First Trip
-Hopefully Behind the Seeds Tour & China Circlevision
-Toontown (was Mickey's Birthdayland last time we were in it when DS was little)
- A couple new to us restaurants: Dinner in the Castle, Liberty Tree & Whispering Canyon all for the Little Guys.

I love that no matter how many times you go to WDW, you can always find new things to do, or do it in a different way. Some trips are Commando, some trips are pampering, some trips are about food, some trips are about tours, some trips are about Hidden Mickey's - But every trip brings something new.

Just got back and did many new things:

Cirque du Soleil
Wishes birthday cruise (this was the highlight of the trip!)
Dinner at Narcoossee's
Adventurer's Club @ PI (so much fun that did it twice!)
Comedy Warehouse @ PI
DIS monorail-drink-a-thon meet
Segway tour
VMK quest in Tomorrowland with DD8
Movie in China pavillion at Epcot
Lights, Motor, Action! @ MGM
Spa treatments at SSR

Some of the things we've never done but would like to try during our next trip:

Illuminations Cruise
Magic Kingdom Family Tour

Also, DD & I might get our nails done at the GF spa.

Debbie

My firsts from this trip (Sept. 28-Sept. 30):
1. Off-Kilter--A+++++++++. They were simply awesome
2. BTMRR--fun. Loved it, will do it again
3. Soarin'--scared me to death at first, then I loved it.
4. Little Mermaid show at MGM--great.
5. Character lunch at Crystal Palace--great food, beautiful restaurant, great character interaction, great waitress

Lemme see...

At MK I plan on going over to Tom Sawyer Island. I haven't done that since I went to WDW with my dad back in the 70's. Not sure why I haven't. Another thing I can't believe we've done is WISHES. It seems like something is always keeping us from seeing it. Not this time!

At AK, of course we gotta try EE. I'm a little scared, but it looks so darn fun.

At Epcot...I think we'll just take our time and enjoy the WS a little more. This is one of our favorite places to go, but there are still those little things we have yet to enjoy. We haven't spent any time in China for years. I think I'll pick a pearl in Japan, and try some Kaki Gori...never done either.

At MGM...another place where we'll try to slow down a bit. I think there's even a little part of the park we've never seen. We always go in here, do a few things and leave. This time it's all about stopping to smell the roses.
