I did some things on this trip I'd never done before!

My trip in September I:

rode Kali River Rapids, Dinosaur and Primeval Whirl.
Saw the Hall of Presidents for the first time.
Went to see La Nouba.
Saw the Muppet 3D movie.

On my trip in Oct/Nov we are:
going to MNSSHP
Who wants to be a Millionaire
The Indy stunt show
Sleeping Late!!!

We just got back last Sunday and we also did some things that were new...it was my 9th trip, DH's 12th or something and DS's 6th...and still new things.

1. I rode Star Tours and Splash Mountain for the first time.
2. We rode a surrey bike at the Boardwalk
3. We ate at: 1900 Park Fare, Trails End, Kona Cafe - first time
4. I went down a water slide at OKW
5. We took DS on the WDW Train for the first time
6. DS and DH were monorail copilots
7. We used one of the Kid's Clubs (Sandcastle Club at BCV).
8. DH and DS went on a mouse boat for the first time
9. We visited POFQ, CBR and Pop to see them
10. Celebrated a birthday (DS - 4) and all that goes with it: birthday calls from Goofy, cupcakes and songs, cards and balloons, etc.
11. Rain! We'd never been there in the torrential rains!! Believe it or not...
12. Lights, Motor, Action
13. DS playing in Pooh's new play area
14. Got into a room at BCV at 9:45 in the morning right after checking in.
15. Snacks at Boulangerie Patisserie
16. Ordering from Beach Club private dining
17. Major plane delay, thanks to Hurricane Rita (plane originated in New Orleans)

WOW! There are probably more things but that's plenty...I didn't realize how much new stuff we did...

And lots more to come on our next trip.

Been 5 times in the past 5 years and have never seen Fantasmic. Is it worth the hype? If so, any suggestions on seating, times to get there, etc? We will be going in January.

Love love love Fantasmic, a must do for me! :maleficen I would suggest getting the dinner package, Hollywood & Vine has a great buffet, this way you can get there at 8:30 and still know you can get a seat. January should hopefully be less crowded too.

We leave on 10/25. We have been to WDW approx. 7-8 times. The only way I could convince DH to go again was to promise him that we'd do "different" things. Believe it or not, this will be the first time for us to actually plan meals. We're definitely going to Whispering Canyon and 50's Prime Time. This will be a first for us. We're doing MNNSHP for the first time. I think we're going to rent the "sea raycers." Any thoughts on those? They look like fun. Enjoy everyone, and thanks for the great question. :cheer2:

One more thing -- we're renting points to stay at BWV! I can't wait. We have never stayed on the property before. We never could have afforded this place if I hadn't learned about renting points. Thanks DVC owners!

This question is very timely for us, since we in exactly 1 week for our visit to WDW, and the goal of this trip (our 4th together since getting married & having the honeymoon at Disney) is to experience new things. Currently we have planned:

1) Spa treatment on the Disney Wonder (our 2nd cruise, so that's not new)
2) MNSSHP - including dinner at Tony's, which I've never even noticed on Main Street before!
3) Visit the Boardwalk and eat at Beaches & Cream
4) Stay at Pop Century
5) Visit DisneyQuest
6) Keys to the Kingdom Backstage Tour at MK

...I'm sure there will be other things, but these are the ones we have planned!

Let's see... this past trip I intended to finally try Splash Mountain, but didn't get the chance to. Finally did see CoP in MK (as well as Cinderellabration), One Man's Dream film, Great Movie Ride and LMAX in MGM, JIYIwF and Soarin' in Epcot, and I finally saw Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade in AK. Also finally took the monorail trip from TTC to Epcot. Went in the MS Bakery for the 1st time and got the banana bread pudding everyone raved about... which is gonna translate into me having to get it at least 2x on my next trip!!! :cloud9: :lovestruc My goals for next time are:

MK
Splash
Timekeeper (if it ever is open again; never has been during my trips)
Swiss Family Tree House

EPCOT
Universe of Energy
Spaceship Earth
China 360 film

MGM
Tower of Terror (been too much of a scaredy cat, frankly :rolleyes1 )

AK
Flights of Wonder (never have seen that for some reason...)

As for other things and meals, I want to try a character breakfast. Just no clue which one. Also want to try California Grill, maybe the Brown Derby, and definitely mini-golf for a change, LOL! :earboy2: I might even get really adventurous and try parasailing w/the marina by the Contemporary. Behind the Seeds tour in The Land is also something I'd like to do. Never have gotten a Dole Whip. Oh, and I also WILL meet Mickey Mouse. Never have, so I'll be on a mission. :teeth:

This will be my 6th trip and everytime we go I still realize there are things I haven't done. Last time we did the Tiki room for the first time and while not fantastic it was cute. We also did Snow White which was ok but you know I'm 23 and that one part where you go into one of the rooms and the witch is right in your face? That freaked me out, I think if I was kid this ride would've scared me.

MK- Goofy's Barnstormer. I didn't even realize adults could ride! I thought it was only if you were a child or accompanied by a child (like some kid rides at Busch Gardens). So I can't wait to try this one.

MK-Astro Orbiter. I don't know why I've never stopped to go on this but I'll have to make it this trip.

Epcot- The China vision-thing (I'm very good with names, I get it from my Dad ;) --so my Mom says ;) ). I get so lost in WS that I can never find anything so I hope it's not hard to locate. I went into a shop in Morroco once and it took me 45 min. to locate my family. I think they were trying to lose me though :)

Epcot-Since we're going again during the holiday season I really want to catch the Santa's around the world at WS. We caught the one in Germany last time and it was very entertaining. I would love to see all of them.

Epot-American Adventure. Never seen it but I love Animatronics (sp?). Is it anything like Hall of Presidents though? I was bored out of my mind at HoP.

AK-The Festival of the Lion King. We're not a big show and parade family but with such great reviews and Lion King being one of my favorite Disney movies I HAVE to see this this time.

AK-The trail in Asia with the tigers (I told you I'm good with names :) ). We've walked through before but I really want to take the time to enjoy the trail instead of just walking through and looking for the next ride.

MGM-I think I've done everything here that I've wanted to do. I just love to walk around this park especially at night. We went to an EMH last May and we spent all three hours just walking around, we didn't even ride anything! Crazy, I know. But it was so nice! So I would like to do that again.

Mainly I would really like to just slow down and really enjoy this vacation. We're going for 7 nights/8 days (the longest we've ever gone) so maybe I can accomplish this this time. But I doubt it! :)

I can't wait to go back. This time hopefully we'll be able to take a slower pace. The last time we went, it was pretty much commando, although we did get to see and do a lot. On our must-do lists:
Splash Mountain- It was either shut down, or we couldn't get fast passes.
EE in Ak will be open and of course Sorin' :bounce:  :cool1:
I will have ADR's made, but other than that we plan to just go where the bus, monorail, boat, wind, etc. takes us!!! June just doesn't seem close enough!

They are so much fun! We used to do them every year. It's a great way to see MK and all of the resorts on the lake. Also, there is a lot of water to navigate! I don't think people realize how big it actually is until they rent the boats because of the area that is connected to the lake by WL and the CR.

I like HoP, but granted it isn't all that exciting. AA though... personally, especially at the end, I get goosebumps and teary eyed everytime. They do animatronics up through the early 1900s I believe and then after that is a great film montage... JFK's speech, MLK's speech, "The Eagle has landed," Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, etc., etc. The music is what gets me, though (the song's called "Golden Dream"). :goodvibes It's a really nice show, and I love it. :goodvibes

I've been to WDW a handfull of times, around 15 or so...I'll be leaving on Tuesday and I'm making it a point to see as many things as I can that I've never seen/been on before. This includes:

MK - Jungle Cruise, BTMRR, Splash Mountain...actually I might have been on Splash years ago but I don't remember it. I have no idea how I missed these all the times I've been there, but I'll try and hit them all this time. Haven't done Stitch yet either, so I'll probably do that just because it's something I haven't done.

EPCOT - Hmm...I've done everything pretty much at EPCOT except for Mission: Space, but I don't plan on going on it anyways.

MGM - I've been to MGM sooo many times the past few years and have spent at least a full day there each trip...but, oddly enough, I've never been on Tower of Terror, Rock-n-Roller Coaster, seen Indiana Jones, One Man's Dream, Beauty and the Beast, or Fantasmic. Looking back on it, it's funny how I've spent so much time there and have never done any of that...I guess it's probably because I usually won't do anything else until I get in the Hot Seat at WWTBAM-PI....it took 9 straight shows the last time lol

AK - I've been inside the park a couple of times but have never made it past the front entrance. I won't have time this trip to hit AK either...it'll have to wait til next time.

This is why you can go to Disney so many times...there is so much to see, each trip can be different & exciting!!! :earsboy: I love it! :Pinkbounc

Last trip I did Soarin' (loved it), The Land pavillion, IASW (although I had seen the DL one), went to Animal Kingdom for the 1st time and ate at Cyrstal Palace.

Next trip I would like to try something new outside the parks like DisneyQuest or Typhoon Lagoon. :flower:

You are missing a great time!!! I was in awe the whole time! The effects are AWESOME!!!!!! GO GO GO!!!! I would get a dinner package so you can walk right in- if your eating there anyway, its worth it!

I'm not going to be seeing any attractions I haven't done before. However, I will be trying a lot of restaurants I've never eaten at like:

Sci-fi Cafe

Le Cellier (hubby and I are wanting to eventually eat at all of the WS rest.)

Whispering Canyon Cafe (we have ulterior motives for this one: we want to eat there and check out the resort to see if it's somewhere we'd like to stay at someday)

Earl of Sandwich

and others :)

What wonderful ideas! I've printed out this list to see how many new experiences we can build into our trip in January. THANKS!

This is our fourth trip since 7/03.

Our firsts include:
MVMCP
Illuminations Cruise
Cirque du Soliel
MK Family Magic Tour
Osborne Lights
2 candlelight processionals

We're also make a point to eat at new restaurants this time like Le Cellier, SciFi, Wolfgang Pucks, Ohanas (for breakfast), and Garden Grille.

On our next trip we are going to do the segway tour at Epcot, go parasailing on Seven Seas Lagoon, go on Soarin and Expedition Everest, see Wishes and try out some of the restaurants. :earsboy:

This last trip we did a lot of new things. We went to both water parks and also sent the boys on the Pirate Cruise. We did the Circle of Life, Lights, Motors, Action, and Who Wants to be a Millionaire.
We ate at some new places also. Beaches and Cream, Sci-fi, Shula's, and Big River Grill.

I have been many times but really wanted to stay at AKL.

So.... this trip I'm staying for 2 nights (Can't wait  )

The following 6 nights will be at AsMo :goodvibes

This upcoming trip, I am really looking forward to using the Dining plan and hopefully getting into some of the restaurants that I have always wanted to try.....
BOMA
Chef Mickey's,
Le Cellier (I'm Canadian, so I have to try this one),
Whispering Canyon Cafe,
Teppenyaki Japanese restaurant in EPCOT
Tusker House/ Flame Tree B-B-Q in AK

For attractions:
I am hoping to see more "Shows" in AK & MGM
Soarin in EPCOT
Those quick little "Mouseboat's" at DTD
Illuminations boat cruise

AND.... Just enjoy the atmosphere of WDW, like some else posted here
people watch and stop to smell the roses :earsgirl:
