What are you making a point to do on your next trip to WDW that you've never done before?

This was my 7th trip to WDW, and there are still lots of things I've never done in all four parks. I made it a point to do some new and different things this time!

Magic Kingdom - Goofy's Barnstormer! LOL Short, sweet little roller coaster in ToonTown. Always had wanted to do it with my little girl but the lines were always SO long until this trip. Had also wanted to go to Tom Sawyer Island and ride the riverboat, but the riverboat is closed for refurbishing and we didn't make it to TS Island. Next time!

EPCOT - I had never been inside Morocco or China until this trip. LOVED the 360 film in the China pavilion and Canada, too. Also I experienced Living With the Land, and the Circle of Life for the first time. I love gardening, so really liked LWTL a lot! Circle of Life was a bit painful to watch, but it's a necessary hurt IMO, for the sake of awareness. I enjoyed Epcot more this time than ever before.

MGM - Made the mistake of doing Drew Carey's show for the first time. Geez, it's BAD. Replace that attraction already! Finally got to see Beauty and the Beast - LOVED it!!!

Animal Kingdom - rode the little train to Rafiki's Planet Watch where there is a petting zoo, education about how they care for the animals, a butterfly room/exhibit, and more. Met Stanley - he was a surprise, I had no idea he was there! And Rafiki was there, too! Oh, and my DD got to touch a baby alligator. All of this was new to me this time.

And saw DeVine for the first time!

I've got to convince my wife to do things like that. I think at MK I want to ride the train. At MGM, Muppets I think, I always liked the muppets and we haven't see them yet. EPCOT, there is just so much and on our last trip, we never scheduled enough time to actually be in EPCOT.

AK, I dunno, maybe stay in the park till noon.

Seeing as how I'm going to be 24 weeks PG on this trip, my activites are going to be altered accordingly. No mountains for me!

AK - I've never done the Pagini trail. I'd like to see the gorillas. I also want to see Tarzan Rocks - cause they're gonna close it! And I want to watch the parade - I've heard it's great!

Epcot - See more of the movies. France, Canada, and China are on the list. And watch the preformers in the different countries.

MK - Not much I haven't done here. Enjoy Fantasyland more, because once the baby is here, we'll be spending more time here! Meet more characters!

MGM - Watch the street preformers - I always miss them. Do Indiana Jones, I haven't done that in a while.

Thanks for asking such a great question! It's really getting me geared up for this trip!

My trip this year is designated a trip of firsts even tho' its our third trip, we plan to do one thing each day either a ride or new food or something we haven't done before, Goofys barnstormer will be a first as my DS has always shied away - he'll ride BTMRR :confused3 but has never liked the look of the barnstormer! also soarin' is a first, dinosaur we've never done before and the new stunt show in MGM, so thats the rides covered, now just have to sort the food :rotfl:

Ride Soarin'
Segway tour @ EPCOT
Adventurer's Club @ Dtwn Disney
Councourse Steakhouse @ Contemporary
Visit Pop Century and Saratoga Springs

Shows! Believe it or not, I've hardly seen any shows at the parks. I've been going since I was a little kid, but my family was always oriented to rides and trains and such. I especially want to see The Liok King show and Tarzan (if it's still there in Jan) at AK because this park has less rides than others. At Epcot, I of course want to try out Soarin', and I also want to see either the Canada or France movie for the first time. At MK...I perhaps will try out Stitch (although I'm told it might not be worth it) or The Country Bear Jamboree.

We're going to take more time to explore World Showcase in Epcot. We've never seen the American Adventure show so are looking forward to that, and also the movie in China. We also plan to watch more outside performers from the different countries. At MGM I want to take my time to explore all the neat old-timey scenery around the park. I'd also like to visit a few resorts we haven't seen yet.

We are going to do some tours - backstage magic and segway. We are also going to try out some new places to eat. We plan to visit a few resorts too to check out the christmas decorations.

Last time I was there, we went to see the Chip and Dale Ft. Wilderness show for the first time :)

Did a lot of first on this last trip, including Tom Sawyer Island :flower:

Definitley planning on trying a lot of the bigger rides I've been too nervous to try w/o DBf ;) Defintely hitting any new rides (EE!) and spending more time exploring AK. Also I'd really like to FINALLY see all the films in WS and also ride the Riverboat in MK

I have a few for this trip:
MK- ride the WDW Railroad
Epcot- watch some of the Circlevision type shows in WS, and Body Wars IF it is open (yeah, right)
MGM- Beauty and the Beast, and Voyage of the Little Mermaid, watch the entire parade
AK- Tarzan Rocks, Camp Mickey-Minnie, watch the parade (never even caught a glimpse of it)

and visit some of the resorts I have never been to.

Relax...and smell the roses, people watch, and enjoy our time together as a family. We're always in such a rush to go here, and there. It's time to slow down, and just take it all in.

For our next trip there are several things we want to do:

First of all, we have planned to have 2 "down days" where we will plan on swimming in the resort pools, taking boat rides, playing at the arcade, maybe bike riding too ... and breakfast at the resort instead of eating snack breakfast in the room.

Also want to visit Disney Quest.

AK In the last two visits I still never got to see the Gorillas. That is a must this time. We'll also go on Expedition Everest !!

MK Take the train around the park. Go on Small World since it was closed last time we were there. And check out more in Tomorrowland.

Epcot Explore the buildings more ... slow the pace down ... and do Soarin' for sure.

We're also going to do both water parks. We've only been to BB before, and it wasn't that hot of a day ... so we're glad to be going during hot weather for once in 2006. We're planning a visit to TL and BB.

:cheer2:

Shhhhh! It's a surprise. DS's Christmas present will be the AquaQuest (where you get to "dive" in the Living Seas without diving all the way). He'll open the announcement on Christmas morning and then we'll do it the day after Christmas. Can't wait.

Julie

I'll be staying at the Contemporary for the first time on my next trip, and I'll be eating at 1900 Park Fare and seeing the Grand Floridian for the first time. I'm also thinking about seeing the parade at MK (I haven't seen a day parade there since 1993!)

We've never seen circle of life. What is it about?

its amazing that on each trip we find something we haven't tried before; In August it was the movies in the China building and France &Concourse steakhouse, Ohana's and bomas for breakfast.

this upcoming trip will be MNSSHP, Fulton's Crab House, California Grill and Taste of Senses Party

oh and i also try a new treat and/or massage at the SSR spa each trip - in 20 days it will be a "Sleep in Beauty Wrap"

The magic just keeps getting better :flower:

A grown-up Simba lectures Timon and Pumba about the dangers and damage that humans have done to the earth with all of our pollution. It does end on an up-note, however, with talk of some of the damage-control efforts we are making like recycling, waterway cleanups, etc.

We plan to take a couple of the tours, we have never done any of them -- we have been waiting for our son to hit 16!

Been 5 times in the past 5 years and have never seen Fantasmic. Is it worth the hype? If so, any suggestions on seating, times to get there, etc? We will be going in January.
