I set two small mini-goals for myself this year: 1) to be 220 pounds before or on September 30th and 2) to be able to wear my class ring on my ring finger or middle finger of my right hand.
WELL I REACHED MINI-GOAL NUMBER ONE!!!!!!! I just stepped off the scale and I weigh 217 pounds! WHOA! I'm shocked. I thought I was 217 a couple of weeks ago, but I weighed myself early Wed morning and by Sat. afternoon I was back up to 224! I was heartbroken. I weighed myself last Mon about the same time as I just did this evening and I weighed 223, I was thrilled to know I was getting back to 222 where I was before the weight gain. I've been monitoring myself a lot more closely now and I didn't have Chick-Fil-A last week. I've also been drinking a lot more water and I think that's making a difference. Now if I'll just get off of my tushy and start Tae-Bo again, that would really push things along. My big goal is 50 pounds loss by the end of January. My other mini goal for this year is to be 199 pounds by the 31st of December. That's about 18 pounds away from now. Do you guys think I can do that in 3 months? I sure hope so. For those of you who are curious, 50 pounds loss would put me at 188 pounds. I might even try to get to 180 and see how I feel then.
Wow....I don't remember the last time I was below 220 pounds. It has literally been years, about 5-6 to be exact! I can't wait to see my 25 pound clippie...that's only 4 pounds away!
