I have taken the plunge - I took my Cricut out of the box!!
I bought the machine a few weeks ago when it was on sale for $139. Then I went out and bought 4 cartridges, also all on sale.
(Base Camp, Mini Monograms, Christmas Cheer and Disney Mickey and Friends) I put them all in the closet to think about it for awhile. I was really leaning towards investing in a Wishblade. Well I did think about it for a couple weeks and I've decided that I have a lot of projects that I need to be working on now and if I got the Wishblade that would require a lot of learning/playing around time. At this point I'd rather go with the out of the box ease of the Cricut. I may end up with a Wishblade down the line, but right now I can't resist the call of the bug.
I've used it before at my LSS but there was something different about using it in my own house - I love it!! I've only opened the Mini Monograms box, so I still have a lot of playing around to do. That Disney cartridge has been calling my name ever since I brought it home! I have a feeling I'm going to be wanting a lot of these cartridges. But my recent WDW trip ended up coming in under budget (!) so I have some "play money" and I'm going to have some fun.
So, I'm sorry, Buffy - I'm keeping it!
