I did it! I made our reservations for October 2006!

Well, I couldn't stand it anymore - I called tonight and made our reservations for the Polynesian for October 2006! It feels good to have a Disney reservation made!

Only bad thing - I was so excited to be making my reservation and I got a CM that was a dud. It was a bit of a let down. I wanted some Disney magic! When she answered the phone she was so mumbly I couldn't understand her name. And she had NO enthusiasm at all. I said "I'd like to make a resort reservation please" and she says "ok" and so I waited for her to ask me whatever info she needed first and instead I hear her go "O-K???". I told her I had to call back later and hung up. But when I called back I got a good CM ... not great but good.

Oh, and I got the AAA discount too!

I'm going to be staying at the Poly in Oct 2006 as well!!! I haven't booked yet though. Probably in the next week or so.

CONGRATS on your new reservation!!!! I have 29 days left until we leave and as soon as I hear if my friend can come next August I will be making that reservation too! I wish I could do it now so my WDW withdrawl won't be so bad when I get home on Oct 30th

I know what you mean about not being able to stand it anymore!! LOL!! I booked for Oct. 2006 a couple of weeks ago!! We will be staying Oct. 22-28 GV. Maybe we will see you there! I am very excited, it will be our first time staying at the Poly!!

The rate was $370.18/might (that includes the tax) for a garden view room.

Our dates are October 21-28. Can't wait!

Maybe I'll see you there. I don't have plans for 2006 yet but last year we went that week with AP's and are going 10/14-23 this year. We got the renewal notice for our AP's and my DH wanted to renew them. I was beyound shocked! He's not a Disney fan. I told him we should wait to purchase new AP's for our next trip. I guess he knows we'll be back! SO...if we purchase AP's for 10/23/06 we would HAVE to go again in 2007.

I am so glad I made my Oct 2005 reservation early with AAA as there are no AP rates available for my dates-we just missed the BRP.

Maybe I should making my 2006 reservation now.
