A GREAT Thank-you would be to rent one of the boats either for THE WISHES Fire Works or the Illuminations one at EPCOT ---you get your own boat (it holds 10 so you could share with others) and it takes you along the BAY LAKE if it is for WISHES and the music is piped in,,it is wonderful,,,and the Epcot one is very nice also-- you have to book this way in advance (you have time) but i think you can only book it 90 day out (NOT SURE ON THAT ONE) there is a thread on the boards all about it.. also the HAYRIDES right there in FW are a nice touch and if you take the later one a lot of times they go down by the water at about the times the FIRE WORKS start,,there is no piped in music though--just a thought----oh and you did say you took them to dinner before BUT if you book the CALIFORNIA GRILL and have a WINDOW view the fire works are beautiful from up there,,even if you dont have the window you can go out on the roof and watch them when you are up there...

I am not sure if the basket people deliver to the campground. You will have to searcht he boards for the person who does it now. The one I used is no longer doing it ( FERALPEG - they were GREAT!!).

You can also make up your own basket and mail it down to yourself. I was thinking of doing that this time.

I have done the fireworks cruise and it is wonderful and so special. We are sharing it this time with friends of ours and can't wait!!

I am so excited. Please keep in mind that I just returned from DW only a week ago but I just got off the phone with the CM from making my next reservations to go to DW. YEAH! Only my fellow DIsers will understand. I picked up my pictures today and couldn't wait any longer to schedule my next trip. Now, if only I can wait till next February. Off to get a new ticker! YEAH!

My DH and I can totally relate. We went last summer, decided while still on our trip that we would return in December of 2007 and by October, made the reservation. We were in such a hurry to book again. In fact, we haven't even gone on this trip, and we have already begun talking about going in 2009 for a land and sea trip. We Disers have some sort of illness, huh?! But, I never want to be cured of this illness.

I just called the reservation number and they were able to quote me a price and I went ahead and booked. They did tell me that the prices were subject to change but that is fine as long as they have a spot for me.
Now, my next question. Let me give you a little background. My parents have been supporting me and my DD2 (both financially and emotionally) for the last year while I went through a terrible divorce. I have yet to receive any support from the ex but don't want to take him back to court over it because he is a danger to us and we choose to let it go rather than risk him getting at my DD. I was finally able to sell my house and have financially recovered and am going to be the one treating the family (me, DD, grandma, and grandpa) to this trip. I am so glad to be able to do this because I know that I could never repay what they have done for us. Although the grandparents are arguing about this, I will prevail and finally be the one treating. You could never imagine all of the things that they have done for us. What suggestions do you have of something very nice and special that I could do for the grandparents as a thank you? I was thinking about something that I could do while in DW. I have treated them to dinner in the past but wanted to do something other than that. Any suggestions? Sorry, I know this is long and thanks for reading.

You are so sweet and I understand how you would want to repay your parents back in some way. Here are my suggestions for how to say thank you

(1) You can have a specially made cake delivered to them at a restaurant that you make a reservation for. There's a new "Cake Hotline" for guests requesting celebratory cakes at most Table Service dining locations. The Cake Hotline number is 407-827-2253 and requires 48 hours notice.

(2) I know someone suggested the Wishes fireworks cruise, which is another great idea.

(3) You can get a basket made for them and delivered.

(4) You can book a meal at Coral Reef and arrange for a diver to hold up a sign with a special message from you, from inside the tank. From what I've read on other posts, I believe this is free. I would call dining services or Coral Reef to find out for sure.

I wish I could visit WDW as often as you do. Jealous over here! I'm just excited to be returning in 180 days!!! My last trip was almost a year ago.

Ok, I just couldn't take it any longer. I have now booked another trip for July. Two trips in the same summer. I can't believe that we are getting to do this. I am so excited. The best part is that I got the exact reservations that I wanted this morning and as luck would have it, they had an opening for lunch at CRT. I must be doing something right. We will celebrate my daughter's 3rd birthday while we are there so that will be special. As I said before, only other Disers can understand the madness.
