Exactly and as for the suggestion to make a donation, she said (paraphrasing) we don't have money to give away. It was all just to force me into a corner, but this time I finally pushed back.

We never really got that far as to where any of this would take place. I just wanted to shut it down before it did turn into me doing it all again.

Yeah! It's over!! I just got an email that was pretty much the white flag waving. There will be no get together, no gifts, nothing...exactly what I said we were doing in the first place. Whew..........now the girls and I can just relax and enjoy being just us!

Thank you so much. I just kept doing what Mystery Machine said to do: repeat and repeat and repeat the same thing: We aren't doing Christmas this year. If you would like to do something for the girls, please make a donation in their names. Finally, it worked! We look forward to a peaceful holiday.
