Well for the first time I was able to take advantage of a DW offer. 40% off with that card I received in the mail. Could have had the WL for 199.00(tax included) or the CBR for 124.00 a night(tax included). I would have splurged for the WL but DH said keep it as cheap as possible so the CBR preferred room it is.

This will be a 30th anniversary trip, which will be noted on the ressie.Have stayed twice before at the CBR and have always loved it. Now to start planning the dining ressies!

Any helpful tips on October weather-we arrivve on the 19th!Hopefully it will still be warm enough just without the July humidity.

Congrats on your deal and your 30th anniversary! We went this past October -16th-22nd and it was much warmer than I expected it to be. It was in the 90s all week, although I think the following week after we left it was in the 70s. It was also a lot more crowded than I expected - but still manageable. I would recommend MNSSHP - the parade alone was worth the price - it was awesome. Plus it was so neat seeing so many people dressed in costumes. And with the park being open until midnight, we were able to go on so many rides - much more than any other time of our trip. Make sure you stop by guest services and get anniversary pins for the both of you. Also, have it noted on your dining reservations - the CMs like to acknowlege special occassions. Have a wonderful trip!

I'm thinking about going in Oct. or Nov.. We're looking at the 18th -25th. I'm surprised about the weather and the crowds! I'm wondering if Nov. might work out better. Neither time frame we're looking at is value season it'll be regular season, so the crowds will probably be a little more than value season I'm guessing.
