So, we are back from our Disney trip
sad1
and this was the first time we ever used the Deluxe Dining Plan. We booked LOTS of signature restaurants to use up the credits and we still were stuffed most of the time. We did try lots of new restaurants.
SO..review number 1 is Sci Fi Dine in for dinner on arrival day. We had been there once before for lunch and loved the theming, but the food was just OK (besides the really yummy onion rings and dessert).
I ordered the onion rings as a appetizer and DH order the spinach and artichoke dip with chips. BOTH were really good.
For our entrees, I ordered the shrimp pasta and DH got the ribs. His was just OK and I didn't like mine. The shrimp was tough and the pasta overcooked.
Desserts were both yummy. I had the peanut butter and chocolate cake and DH had the hot fudge sundae. They also brought DH a birthday card and another sundae.
Dessert and apps and the theming were good. Go for the ambience, not for the food.
Stay tuned for Day 2..breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table, lunch at Yak and Yeti and dinner at Jiko.
