Just because the guy made the shirts doesn't mean anyone will buy them.
Yes, DH & I joke about it in private. It is a coping mechanism. But I would never buy a shirt like that. $ talks.

I would personally never consider buying/wearing something like that and i feel irritated at people who do (it would be running through my mind that they are not taking the situation seriously enough and this isn't something to joke about, have some respect for the victems, etc.) but there is another side to that coin. I know there are people who would feel like it was a strike at the sniper to wear a shirt like that, sort of like, "You can't get us all, you scum!" type of thing. Anyway, I guess I'm saying we all cope with our fears in different ways.

I fail to see how Virginia is for Snipers is laughable. And I highly doubt the person selling them is "working through his pain", although I do think he is laughing - at the fools that would buy such a distasteful t-shirt. And maybe all the way to the bank, if he has enough fools who buy it from him.

There are other ways to "work through your pain."

I imagine the only people who would buy such a thing are the same ones who would wear obscene gestures on their t-shirts.
