Today was my last day to try for PSB and of course, I didn't get it. This has become at least as hard as CRT. Between trying to get this breakfast and waiting for AP discounts for October and November, I am really starting to dislike trip planning (which I used to love). Oh well, I guess DD just won't get to have breakfast with any princesses. The frustration of trying to get CRT was why we decided not to even try this time. If anyone cancels for November 3 or November 6, please PM me.

So sorry you did not get your ps. BE SURE to check back 48 hours in advance of your trip, again at 24 hrs in advance & then every day during your trip. You have to give your credit card when you make the ps & the CM's told me that a lot of people will cancel & they have last minute openings. So keep calling every day btwn now & then :D and definately try while you are there. I think you'll get it!! Let us know in your trip report!

It is amazing what we need to go thru to ensure the perfect vacation experience. Would you be interested in 1900 Park Fare dinner at the GF? We really enjoyed this dinner, took an early PS at about 4:40. The royals ( Cinderella, Prince Charming, Aurora) came around several times with Suzy and Perla (Cinderella's mice). This was in May.

ErinInCt- thanks for the info. I wasn't sure if this one required a cc like CRT or not. Believe me, I will keep checking. I work in a call center and we know how many times people call so I assume Disney Dining probably does this also, which means they will probably be sick and tired of seeing that I call every single day. I'm glad they require a cc so that people will cancel their PS instead of just not showing up.

*Belle*- I have already got my breakfast vouchers from Hotwire so it does need to be breakfast. I really wanted a breakfast that would be convenient to Epcot so if all else fails I might try Cape May, although I really want pictures of DD and DS with the princesses. Could also try Donald's at AK if I can't get PSB or Cape May. (DD was afraid of the dinosaur theme at DB last year, but maybe I can talk her into it.) I already have Chef Mickey's and CP booked.

Has anyone been to Cape May for breakfast??

I would call back and maybe you can snag a PS when some one needs to cancel.Do they offer a stand by list where Disney might call you?:wave2:

I would keep calling every so often. I cancelled a CRT res about a week before in May, I'm sure it made someone happy. I would even call tomorrow because someone could have got a better time for the next day and cancelled the day prior. I did that too - the first time all I could get was a 8:00am PS, they next day I got 10:00am, so I cancelled the prior day. Then my niece did not come, so I cancelled it totally.

Oh great! I am also hoping to do the Norway Storybook breakfast for our trip, almost the same dates as you (Nov 3-8). I thought it was available for booking 60 days out, not 90! Guess I missed out already! :( Guess we will be calling too, hoping for a cancelation! I thought only CRT was filled instantly! :(

I've read that a lot of people book PSB breakfast as a "back up" to CRT. Then when they get CRT they cancel PSB. Keep checking back, especially in the week leading up to your vacation. Good Luck!

By the way, we had a wonderful character breakfast at Crystal Palace with the Pooh characters. We went at 8:15, and we were done right when the park opened. The food and atmosphere were great. We've also done dinners at the castle--no characters but great atmosphere and food.

For our last trip, we booked through dreamsunlimitedtravel.com. They automatically apply AP rates and book all your PS's! We got every PS we wanted, and I know several people have booked CRT and PSB breakfasts through Dreams Unlimited. If you haven't already booked a room, you could still go through them and have them get your breakfast reservations.

Don't worry about calling daily. I got a 9:30am ps for CRT, obviously I took it since I could not be choosy, but it is not a great time so I have been calling every single day! I have yet to get the same person twice (at least not that I remember & they didn're know me). So keep calling, they said it is perfectly normal, they don't think it is strange at all to have people call every day for these meals!
Go ahead & book something else to be safe, you can always cancel. But keep trying daily but especially 24-48 hrs before & the day of your trip. I have seen zillions of people post that they were able to get in at the last minute due to cancellations!

I can keep crying, too! I just woke up early to try for PSB for Nov 7, started calling at 6:59 and got put on hold for 45 minutes, just to finally hear there is not a thing available for PSB or any other day near it. Geesch, wish I slept in! :( Now I have to pay for that call with nothing to show for it! Last time I ever bother to book anything like that!

Guess if we still want PSB by Nov, I will check a week prior, like others suggested. :( I had no idea PSB was as popular as CRT!

I was also surprised to find that after only 10 minutes on hold PSB was booked for Nov 6. I chose Cape May Cafe and no, I have never tried that. We were lucky enough to get CRT for Oct. 31 so I cannot complain much AND DH is not nuts about PSB. DD, liked it of course. DS liked the "paint your own cookies" at the end of the meal.

Well, good luck!!

Wishing everyone a "magical" day!!

How about calling for the Storybook Princess in Epcot. Cinderella ofcourse is not included but you can see her in one of the parks. We saw her one day in MGM then ate breakfast the next day at CRT and I'm glad we saw her in the park as our pictures at CRT did not come out due to the lighting and the sun. Just a suggestion.

I went up to the desk at the castle and asked if they had any cancellations - it was 9:00AM - they shrugged and asked how many in our party? I said 3, they asked if we came back at 10 they could fit us in...

so if all else fails...

I chose not to come back, we had eaten in Norway w/ the princesses, and it was great. While we were getting in someone came up and asked if there were any cancellations, and they got reservations in as a walk up...

I believe they may also hold some extra space for concierge guests who may not take them all – do try calling again!

This must mean it is going to be very crowded that last week of October, first week of November. For our upcoming trip in August I was able to get PSB even though I called a week or so later than the 90 day mark. I even had my choice of times.

Guess Jersey Week and F&W is filling the place up.

Seriously, when you call, make sure the CM realizes you want PSB and not CRT...

When my DH called a couple weeks ago for PSB, the CM gave him a time and it wasn't until the CM started talking about the "procedures" and said CRT that my DH realized the CM was booking us for the wrong breakfast.

Luckily there were still PSB times available when my husband corrected the CM.

It's early and these CMs are so used to people calling for CRT...emphasize you are calling for PSB!

Every day is different. I was on the phone first thing this morning trying to get CRT. Finally got off hold at 7:21 and Cindy's was booked, but the nice CM immediately offered PSB. I was able to get an 8:30 reservation on 11/8. And as people have posted prior, I'm going to continue to try and get CRT over the next 6 mornings. If I get it, the PSB is getting cancelled. As it is, I may even try to get a different reservation for PSB, because I'm planning to do MK on 11/8. I'd rather not have to trek over to Epcot for breakfast only to run right back to MK. I'll keep the boards updated if I'm planning to cancel.

We got lucky, I guess September is slower than November, because we got both CRT AND PSB. Looking forward to it. It will be our first time at both of those. However, we have done Cape May before. Completely different atmosphere, but still a lot of fun, and great breakfast food. Also, it is one of only two breakfasts that feature Minnie (Chef Mickey's is the other one). We are also going back to Cape May in September. As others have said, keep trying!! But Cape May would be fun, too.

KMH1: same thing happened to me!

I used the 1/1 shortcut and got 9:45am res for CRT 11/1/04. Thing is I called for the Princess Storybook Breakfast at Epcot. I was trying for the 8:30 am seating so I set the alarm for 5:50am, crawled out iof bed and kept calling until phones opened. I was on hold for a few minutes and then booked the resv. I requested the PSB and she said it back to me and said we would love it. She took all the info (older lady -- nice but slow) and then when she confirmed said CRT. When I corrected her she realized the mistake and said princess and first thing in the am got her confused. She was very nice but by then 8:50 was earliest PS available for PSB so that's what I ended up with. I then had to stay on the line another 5 minutes while she cancelled the resv. for CRT (she had to call someone).

So if calling early for PSB make sure they understand!

I would book Crystal Palace as a back-up -- food much better than CRT and character interaction also better. Princess breakfast will not make or break your trip -- even though you feel that way now. Those Princesses have an attitude anyway. Tigger is so much cooler!!
