I can't wait any longer! ~UPDATE 5/25 I'm back!

Just joining in and still catching up. I love your photo with the CM in the first post. I love awesome interactions. Your Belle work appropriate Disneybounding is perfect.

And my favorites:
Favorite Park: Epcot
Favorite Ride: Space Mountain
Favorite Character: Minnie!
Favorite Restaurant: Boma

Hi Tracy!! Wow!! I would have screamed as well! That's something to add to a frame and put on the wall! How awesome!!
I would go with January. All of the kids will be back in school, so low crowds. Plus the weather will be nice. :) :)

Most definitely something to add to a frame and slap right up on my wall! ::yes:: It was so exciting!!!

Good points about January... it's been probably close to 20 years since I've been to Disney and not baked in the heat and sun  Going in the cooler weather might be nice! :thumbsup2

Hello there and :welcome: So happy to have you along!!! :goodvibes Awww, thanks! Ed was just so fantastic and I loved every minute of our interaction, I had to have a keepsake from that experience! :goodvibes And thanks again! I'd love to Disneybound to the parks, but if I decide to do that, I better really start moving on it.

Excellent choices for your favorites! Although I must admit I've never eaten at Boma... it's on my list though! ::yes::

You know you just made my day, right? :goodvibes

Awwwww  Likewise :goodvibes

I vehemently oppose ALL OF THESE DATES, and must insist that you book your trip for sometime during the second week of December. ::yes::

I recommend November (I'm partial to going during that time of the year...love it), but push it back and travel from say.....11/15-11/20 (this has nothing to do with the fact that this is when I will be there)! :) Seriously though I just love November in Disney!

Ah! $7???!!!!
That's so cool, though!!!!
Shadow box or frame those!!

As for next trip dates, I'd say if you want to go to see your sister this summer, I'd pick November or January. We just went Nye-first week in January and had a great time and no delays!

 Hmmm... this comes from a completely unbiased opinion, I see! :rotfl: The last time I was in Disney in November was 1993! :scared1: I think that timing-wise November sounds like a great option - it "spreads out" my trips so I don't have all of them packed together. That makes it better on the wallet, too! ::yes:: Logic tells me November and there are other benefits to those dates as well! (Like MVMCP!!!)

Ooooh!!! The shadow box idea is AMAZING!!! :thumbsup2 I love it!

It certainly does make good sense to pick November or January to spread out my trips. Glad to hear that you didn't have any delays for your January visit - I think that's probably a great option for me if I could just get over my fear of weather-related delays! :headache:

I love auto cricket.

Haha!!!! I fixed it ;)
(Auto cricket) :)

Oh I've seen LOTS worse around these boards than this auto cricket :rotfl2:

Sorry I've not been here...a headache that is now in it's 6th day kept me off the DIS this weekend for the most part.

I've done January...and would you believe it was 85 degrees every day I was there? I personally like your October dates because you can do Food & Wine and there is a slight chance we'll be there at the same time. ;)

Oh, Kathy, I'm so sorry to hear about your never-ending headache! I hope you're feeling better.

Wow! 85 in January - that's my kind of weather! :thumbsup2 This is such a hard decision as there are benefits to each of these dates. The possibility that you may be there in October makes a strong case for that one though! ::yes::

That old ticket book! How cool!!:goodvibes

My votes are for September or October. I love MNSSHP so I think it's worth it for that, alone. Plus crowds and prices are right at that time. October would be the best weather wise, I think. Warm, sunny, and very little rain. September still has the chance of those afternoon storms. I think November would be fun for MVMCP, but if I were going to catch holiday events I would go in December to see the Epcot Christmas Around the World stuff, which won't start until later. January has low crowds but also closures and iffy weather.

So...my vote is October! Hmm...have you checked when Columbus Day weekend falls? That might increase crowds a little...just to throw another wrench into your plans! :rotfl:

I know! Isn't it great?! :thumbsup2

I've actually never been to MNSSHP (epic fail for not doing that on my September 2013 trip :sad2:). So that would be amazing to do! The crowds are absolutely right (and prices) for that time of year too. Good point on the weather and the September storms. I can't believe the storms they had last September! :scared1: I also would love to do MVMCP but you bring up a good point about November being too early for other Christmas related things.

I would miss the Columbus Day crowds if I went with my October dates! :thumbsup2 Ahhh, so many decisions! Thanks for your help, you bring up a lot of excellent points! :thumbsup2

Wow, what a beautiful place your sister lives in! England is one of my most favorite places!

I would be tempted to go the second half of September or October, just to try and catch free dining. It would be hard for me to go back without it.....what a savings! But September kind of had me disappointed because boy did the rain rain rain come down down down :umbrella:. I'm sure it's not always like that though. If they did free dining again for Oct. I'd probably choose those dates ( if it were me going...:rotfl2:) and then try for November next time. I'd love to see the Christmas decorations! Hard choices! :confused3 But so much fun trying to decide!

Hi Tracy! Just found your PTR so following along. I really like your plans so far and how exciting to go to Disney and not have to worry about anyone but yourself. I am so like you when I'm at Disney it is go go go, so they can either follow or get left behind! :teeth:
So I know I'm super late to the party but thought I'd answer your "favorites" questions too:
Favorite park(s): I really like them all but MK is my #1
Favorite ride(s): Tower of Terror and Haunted Mansion
Favorite character(s): Snow White and Tigger
Favorite Disney restaurant(s): Le Celliar and Ohana
I too love WDW for it's CM interactions - yes there have been a few not stellar ones but even those are better than interactions at other places! My co-workers and friends (who are not Disney lovers if you believe those people exist) can not understand why I love it so much and want to go back every year. I tell them it truly is the happiest place on earth and you smile the whole time - most everyone is friendly from the CM to the people you meet in line to all the wonderful people here on these boards.
How exciting that you are catching Flower & Garden on it's last day - I have only been during F&WF so I would love to go in the Spring sometime. Your food choices look so yummy and can't wait to see how it goes once you get there!:-)
Also congratulations of your exciting but exhausting opening. I do watch GoT and the theme song is my ring tone! I bet they were great and how awesome to hang with them. You looked stunning and your dress was amazing.
Looking forward to hearing more about your plans!

I just realized I also didn't post answers to your questions...though I do think I said "hi" at some point :)) Anyway here goes:

Favorite park(s): MK by a landslide...then EPCOT, then AK...then HS - though haven't been to HS in so long who knows lol
Favorite ride(s): Haunted Mansion and Peoplemover
Favorite character(s): Eeyore
Favorite Disney restaurant(s): Does Hoop de Doo Review count? That. Or if not then Raglan Road. Though I haven't really been to that many TS restaurants...have to rectify that :)

Looking forward to hearing more about your plans and trip!

It really is absolutely stunning! I can't wait to get back and visit her next summer :hyper: Where in England have you visited?

Free dining is a HUGE draw for me as well! I ended up adding the QSDP to my May trip and it just wasn't as fun as getting it for free! :sad2: The September rain possibility does scare me a bit... especially after all the TRs I read about how crazy it was! :scared1: But we shall see... I think I'm leaning toward November to space out my trips a bit. My pockets will likely need a little recovery time after my May trip :lmao:

Hi there! So glad you made it over here! :goodvibes Yay!!! Sounds like the two of us would get along quite well in the parks: GO GO GO! :thumbsup2

You've probably already read by now my fear/excitement about one of your favorite rides: ToT! I'm really really looking forward to it but at the same time am so nervous I'll end up looking like this:  as a result  But I'm gonna go for it no matter what! ::yes::

Disney really is just the best place EVER!!! I don't understand the people that don't get it... but thank goodness! Because the parks are too crowded already!

Awww, thanks so much!!! :goodvibes Yay! Glad you could appreciate the Game of Thrones update! They really were absolutely incredible. You are too sweet. :goodvibes

Yeppers, you did say "hi" at some point! Glad you decided to share your favorites - I love seeing what other people love! Ahhh, I see we have some shared favorites - Haunted Mansion and Peoplemover!!! :thumbsup2 And yes, this is my PTR so I can make the rules - and the rules state specifically that Hoop De Doo absolutely counts!!! ::yes::
