I was trying to lay the soaker hose last night to water one of my flowerbeds and a fire-ant bit me twice on the knuckle of my right ring finger.
Now that finger and half-way onto the back of the hand is really swollen and I can't bend it much. Not even enough to type right if I'm trying to reach the bottom row with that finger.
I'm waiting for the nurse from the allergy doctor to call me back with any suggestions beyond putting cortizone cream on it, ice on it, and taking a claritin.
Stupid fire-ants.

That means going off one of my medicines for 3 weeks again then going for another week without allergy medicine... I don't wanna do that if all they're going to say is yes you're allergic to fire-ants and your hand will swell up.
Um... duh. I know that. I'm looking at that.
I'm not serious enough I need an emergency epistopthingamajigger, all I want is for the swelling to go down faster.
