I have to vent! What is with the June 3 cut off date??? Weird date to end with??? It makes me want to choke Mickey not really But I don't know what to do...I have a ressie for 7 nights at the AKL, standard view. I really can't afford the standard rate (I know, I know what you are going to say) You can't count on AP codes, and you shouldn't book what you can't afford, but I really wanted to stay at the AKL! I thought I would at least know something by March and if there wasn't a code there would be enough time to change to a mod resort. Now I don't know what to think. If there is an AP code for June 9, it probably won't come out until April, if not, by April all the rooms will be booked. And since the cut off is June 3, will they skip June 9? Does that make sense? Am I overreacting? Thanks for letting me vent!

Has anyone actually gotten the AP rate for a trip beginning after June 1st?

Our trip begins June 1st and I have not been able to get an AP rate for our rooms. I was told that there is nothing out for June yet.

I am beginning to wonder if I'll even renew my AP.

Did you call today? The code EZN is good now for check-ins up to June 3rd. You can only reserve 10 nights on one reservation - you may have to split it.

Possibly bookings for June are already very strong and they don't feel the need to offer discounts past the 3rd.

I saw another poster get AP rate for Pop for June 3-9, BTW.

Maybe the date is to coincide with the beginning of summer vacation for families. This is when my grandson's vacation begins. In the past, the discount use to go to the end of June/beginning of July. We have seen lots of changes in the AP benefits, so no one should be too surprised with this new change. Also, as other posters said, maybe attendance is very high, and there is no need to discount the rooms.

I got the AP rate this morning for AKL Pool View, June 1-4...just told the CM that I have an AP and she pulled up what was available at AKL with the AP rate.

I think they will offer something...just a guess. There are a few holes in passholder rate times through out the year though too...last Oct and now this time spring break. However, like we saw today, I think they may be limited like with the standard views at certain resorts.

I think they know that if AP rates don't come out, people will trade to move "down" in resorts from deluxe to moderates and mod to value and I'm sure they don't want that either.

You're right though with all the changes since last fall, not releasing to 7/4 this time is just another change from the norm. I didn't look to close, but they broke up other months too in Jan/Feb and released them closer to the dates and not for as long...didn't they?

One thing I don't understand...with all the money they are making, why can't they have a better website????
