are on the beach club? Can someone please tell me? Another question: I was looking at the beach club villas online and i really like it. If we typically travel right after the kids are out of school for the summer(end of May), is that a hard time to get ressies for bc? Could we buy at ssr so we have a dvc longer and plan the vacation at the 7 month mark? if we typically travel in late spring, what use year would be best?

Most believe that use year is not that important. But the rule of thumb is a use year just before when you normally travel.

BCV and VWL are small resorts in desired locations so the 7 month window is a bit of a challenge. If you are flexible then you should be okay that time of year. If not, then buy at BCV for the 11 month booking advantage.

If you know you want to stay at the BCV's and you know the time of year you are going so that you can make the reservations at 11 months, then buy at the BCV.

If the longer contract is more important than where you stay, then buy SSR.

Follow Jim's advice on the use year but in general it's not important unless you have to cancel in the few months before you travel.
