I can't get the battery changed in my Disney watch

because no one can get the back off! Multiple jewelers have tried it.

The watch came from the World of Disney, and I would like to contact them about it. I'm wondering if there is somewhere I can send it to get the battery changed. Any idea how to contact that store or where else I should try.

wow....I have several Mickey watches that I only trust in the hands of a good jeweler, and I've never encountered this problem,

I just can't comprehend this.......real jewelers....????

Just ask DH who ruined my watch trying to change the battery about this issue! He has never had a problem changing the batteries in any of my Disney Watches, except for the one he bought me last year for $80. Not too expensive but expensive enough. Good luck.

I just had the battery changed in my Tinkerbell watch and I was told that they had to break a seal to get it out! It's supposed to be waterproof and they check it after the battery is replaced to make sure the seal is leak proof after they put it back on. Cost me more than an extra watch battery, but the seal is good for 3 years. We'll see!

I didn't even know it was waterproof to begin with!

I had the same problem with a Disney watch. I took it to a watch store and they couldn't get the back off! Needless to say the watch isn't being used anymore.

Hmmmm, I'm "watching" the bidding on a Tinkerbell Disney watch on eBay...the seller says it's brand new still-in-box, never used...and the starting bid is only $5.99. Now I'm wondering if they weren't able to change the battery, so that's why it's up for sale...hmmmmm, maybe I won't want to bid on it afterall.

I have a Disney watch too that is nearly impossible to get the back off to change battery. It is the one with Mickey's siloutte on the face in gold tone. It is now in the jewelry box becasue it is such a pain. And once the battery was finally changed...I had to replace it several times! Finally give up and bought a Seiko...which I have had no problems with.Though I miss my Mickey watch!!!

I take my watches to a permanent kiosk that sits in the center of my local mall, they've been in the business for 8 years or so and seem to know what they're doing. They also sell Disney watches.

I also have a year's warranty on the battery in addition to the 3 year waterproof seal thing.

I'd say keep trying different places to get the back off/seal broken so that the battery can be replaced. It can be done!
