I cant find the remote

Most likely not but take the batteries out right away and let it dry for a few days.

I know a cell phone and a digital camera that survived after being dunked in a lake. As someone else said, take out the batteries and let it dry.

okay, I took out the batteries, its dripping water out tho. Maybe I should have left it in for the spin cycle!

Good luck. I accidently threw away the remote for my DH's big screen TV years ago. I will never get over having to shell out $125 for a new remote.
