I have one for soaring, one for mission space. I'm planning to rope drop FEA and do single rider test track. Where can I use my 3rd one? Figment? Really? Does figment need a fast pass?
Just book a "throwaway FP" for Figment or Spaceship Earth at 9:00a and allow it to expire. As soon as you use Soarin' and Mission:Space, try for another Tier 1.
I'm not interested in characters this trip. I think I will book an early figment and let it expire. What are the chances of a tier 1 still being available noonish?

So, if I use one one soaring, then tap into mission space, I can book another tier 1 (assuming availability) without using figment? I didn't think you could do that.

@punkin - everything Hiro is saying is correct from my experience. I might just offer one suggestion though, which would be to FP a show instead of Figment. The last 2 times I've tried to grab Figment as my "extra/expiring" FPP, it has gone down at some point during the window. Even if just for a few minutes, if you haven't used it, MDE automatically then assigns you an "anytime" FPP, good only mostly for Tier 2 rides (usually along with the Land). This doesn't count against your 3 for the day, nor for your "checking off" the two Tier 2's. So if that happens, you then have to book yet ANOTHER Tier 2 and use it or wait for it to expire before getting another Tier 1 (besides the Land one now offered as a replacement). If your goal is to possibly pick up Soarin' or TT, I'd recommend getting the second Tier 2 as something unlikely to go down, either the Pixar shorts or Turtle Talk.
I just always feel bad doing that if I'm not going to use it since Character Spot is a harder to get FPP just due to the limited slots. Also, because of the limits, usually by the time I can book at 30 days the only availability is later in the afternoon or evening. But if you're booking at 60 days that would be another safe, "unlikely to break" one.
