I can't believe what I did....... First of all it has taken me 7 years to begin to start to organize my pins on pin pics. :upsidedow Yes, I am a little slow. I probably wouldn't have started it now but, my friend, Cyn (Figment2) was staying with us while she recouped from a recent surgery and suggested, that while she was "just sitting around" that she could be able to help be to get started. Of course I took her up on it. With her help I have been able to catalog almost all of 3300 + pins. Not only that I found out how many duplicates I really do have.
I have finally gotten down to the "Countdown to the Millennium" pins, you know they were at the bottom of the pile because they were among the first to be collected. After standing out in the cold, in the middle of winter, in Chicago, with my very young Grandson, I find that I am missing 5 pins in the set. I was positive I had them all but, I believe I was short on traders for one trip  so I grabbed a handful of them. :sad1: How can one crazy pin collector/trader be so scatter brained?:confused3

Now that you're on Pin pics, maybe you can trade for them. I've had good luck trading online :)

Congratulations:banana: ! Got Mary started, came home and decided that maybe I should scrap my spreadsheet and use PinPics instead. Started a new user name (mscyn1) but I'm not even half way done.

Hey, Mary, maybe the next project should be to catalogue what collectibles we have!

You MUST be kidding. One thing at a time. You've seen my basement!!!!!
Now maybe I should come over and help you put #'s on things.:woohoo:

Hey, I did that too, traded keepers that I thought were 'traders'. I bought the LE 1000 Disneyland Advent pins that went with those Christmas pin trees and then put the set in the wrong book. (I had gotten them on a great deal off of Disneyshopping.com.)

Then I traded most of them away by mistake on my last trip. At first I was really upset, but then I figured that I actually hadn't loved them that much and that I didn't need to keep them if I didn't looooove them.

agnes!

I sat down last month and put MOST of our pins in. DS, DH and I all have collections and we came home from WDW with about 200 new additions that we traded for. I know I have all of mine entered, and most of DH's. DS has over 200 pins in his book but only 150 or so listed on Pin Pics, but I am too lazy to go pin by pin and figure out which ones I left off!;)

DH has decided he likes those Countdown to the Millennium pins. I think he has about 12.:rotfl2: I am thinking it is unlikely that he will run across the other 89 or so in the parks, but I guess it could happen! We have never done online trading.

you never know. I'll be leaving some on castmember lanyards next month. I'm taking some dupes as traders

I have some for trade. Not sure if I have them listed on Pin Pics but let me know which #'s you need and I'll see if I've got them.

Pin Pics is an on-line database ad trade facilitator of lapel pins including Disney, Olympic, WB, ESPN and soon to be ..... sorry that's top secret at the moment. ;-) It can be found at www.pinpics.com.

We just got back from 9 nights at WL and somebody was putting them in the pin trading book. DH was able to find at least one each day. He also ended up with some Musical Moments and 100 Years of Dreams because they LOOKED like the Millennium ones.:rotfl2:

We're not going back until December, but right now we are out of traders so I have some logistics to figure out!

So, before I trade them away, are the Countdown to the Millenium pins considered rare or something?

I don't know if I would call them "rare".:confused3 I have been browsing on EvilBay all weekend and I have run across several different ones. They aren't bringing huge bids - maybe $6 total, including shipping. My DH just thinks they are neat. He enjoys looking for them because he knows he isn't likely to see tons of them, so it is a challenge. The very first pin DS ever traded for is the Hunchback one, so that particular one is special for sentimental reasons.:)

I am listed on Pinpics under "Flitter". Thanks everyone. I don't have all my trades listed on there but most of my wants. So if you have one I need let me know what you are looking for and I will see if I can find it in the group of pins that I have not yet listed.
Thanks everyone!!!!!
