I can't believe this!

But..... after 6 weeks of struggling for every little pound to come off, and after 6 weeks of ups and downs......all of which you have helped me through.... I am proud to announce that this morning, I gave birth to a........

10 lb Clippie !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have NEVER had such a hard time trying to lose 10 lbs. in my whole life! There were so many times when I was ready to throw it all out the door and just give up! But you all helped me through those depressing moments with sweet and tender words.... well.... OK! ....and sometimes a cyber slap or two !!!!!

I just want to tell you all thanks so much for standing by me and helping me to get to this point. I know 10 lbs is not much in the scheme of things- especially when you have over 100 lbs to lose! But I think of all the weight I will eventually lose- I will be most proud of these first, hard fought for , 10 lbs!

Every ounce counts! I'd love to say that it gets easier from here - because 10 is such a GREAT number to get to!!!! It's the double digits of weight loss - no more single numbers, but a real, concrete, OH MY GOSH moment!!! So in a way it does get easier, because you can say to yourself, "I've lost 10 pounds! I can do anything now!!!"

Don't you just feel like walking up to people in the store or on the street so you can say, "Hello, I've lost 10 pounds!"

Way to go!!!!!!!!!!! You are doing an awesome job! It's moments like this that make you feel really proud that you stuck it out and didn't give up! You are a WINNER!!!! xo

TigH- too funny- that's like the commercial where the guy walks up to anyone on the street and says- I lowered my cholesterol! Well, I've done that too I'll bet- but will know sometime in the next 1-2 weeks after I go to have my blood work done again! I am 50% of the way to my first goal- but Ihave to meet that by June 28th. I sure hope I can do it. If it takes me another 6 weeks though I'm gonna be in trouble!

And I agree- the first ten pounds is really the toughest- but with 6 weeks you've managed to start some really great habits that will continue you on down each clippie! So look at it as a JOB WELL DONE!!
