Are you sure she's alive????:lmao:

OK - here is the lo-down on the korker bows...

You will need...
1. a long skinny wooden dowel...the thinner the dowel, the tighter the curled ribbon
2. narrow (3/16th inch, I think) GROS GRAIN ribbon. It MUST be gros grain. (up to 3 colors/patterns)
3. embroidery floss - any color
4. alligator clips or a barette
5. hot glue gun
6. clothespins

Do this:
1. Wrap the ribbon around the dowels, don't overlap. Secure at each end with clothespin
2. Bake at 275 degrees for about 20 minutes
3. allow to cool
4. Remove curled ribbon, cut ribbon into segments of 4-6 curls
5. arrange your pattern (black-red-black-red, etc.)
6. thread the needle with floss (3 strands)
7. begin loading your needle with the curled ribbon by poking it through the middle of each ribbon, keeping them in your pattern
8. after all ribbon is loaded, puch all ribbon to the bottom of thread where the knot is
9. arrnage ribbons so it loos nice. tie a knot on top.
10. put some hot glue on bottom of korker, glue to clip
11. use the needle and thread to further secure the korker to the clip, going through the clip and piercing random bottom pieces of ribbon.

There you have it!! SOOO easy!!! Let me know if you have any questions!!!

Me no speaky this language........;)

Tomorrow. Tomorrow. Tomorrow.

Jordan, I can't wait to see what picture you come up with ! :rotfl2:

So are you all packed and ready to leave, TOMORROW!!??

Just coming by to throw your going away party! party:

My family and friends hate me when they are asleep. We went on a 12 day bus trip with 52 other members of our church congregation and I have a two page spread in a 12 x 15 album with nothing but pictures of people sleeping. I kept trying to stay awake so that others wouldn't return the favor.
:scared:

Have fun on your trip and we will make sure to visit your thread while you are gone.

Remind me to never sleep when you're around!

I figured there'd be some sort of sewing involved, even a hot glue gun but BAKING?!?!?!? :scared1: I'm sure to set ablaze an entire spool of ribbon before I give up & order it online. Or just continue to use the little scrunchies I've been using since DD finally grew enough hair to put into a scrunchy. I'm going to give it a try though.

MNSSHP was great fun last night. Believe it or not it was sold out. I know! I couldn't believe it either! Except for not even thinking about looking to see where the car was parked & subsequently not getting off at the correct lot then wandering around for about 20 minutes looking for it then finally asking the security guy (who was busy trying to coax a cat out of a van's engine :confused3 ) what to do when you can't find the car, he told us it would be in the next lot, which BTW was Dopey, which I felt like at that point, and there it was! Meanwhile DD was beside herself w/exhaustion & DD will not hesitate to bring it up whenever he feels it's necessary. Rested up today, going to AK tomorrow. The weather is just about perfect. Enjoy your trip & I can't wait to hear about it when you get back.

Oh, & if anyone wants to gobble me :scared: , I'd appreciate it immensely. How about turkey. If anyone wants to turkey me? Any way you say it it sounds dirty.

:rotfl2: Let me start by saying that I AM a MIL. I am a good MIL - just ask my DILs :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: No really. Our kids are still only 22 and 24, but they invite us on their vacations - I think it is an extension of the fact that our big vacations have always included Disney! Could also have something to do with our DVC points.....;) But I love to see those grandbabies experience Disney for the first time as much as I loved taking my boys there.

Sorry to be :offtopic: , but just sayin'.... Heather, I am loving your Pre-trippie and can't wait for you to come back and do your TR! I know you are having a great time! Not done reading, but just had to say something in defense of MILs everywhere :lmao:

P.S. Your letting your MIL think she paid for everything is so sweet! It brought tears to my eyes. She will feel so blessed to be able to do that for you all - you are a really special DIL!

OMG! You people are mean! I just saw the MIL pics :scared1:
remind me not to sleep in the car on the way to DL!
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I know, I'm horrible! But what she doesn't know won't bite me in the butt!;) I couldn't resist the temptation to take that picture, when I turned around and saw her like that! She even laughed at the picture when she saw it.

In my defense--she was trying to do the same to me. I just got her first! :rotfl: And to put it out there. If I didn't love my MIL she wouldn't be going to WDW with us for the third year in a row. :thumbsup2

Just checking Heather's thread and putting the porch lights on.

I'll get the mail. (Then we can raid her liquor cabinet and whip up a snack with whatever she has left in the fridge)

does anyone else sorta feel like she is off at the prom having a wonderful time and we are stuck home because our dates stood us up???:sad1: :rotfl:

I'll let the dogs out............does she even have dogs?

I brought my two 100 lb dogs with me...you can let them out. They'll love to dig in Heather's backyard. And I'll make us all a cocktail since it's happy hour. Uhhhh...let me look around in the kitchen for the glasses....
