I know the "experts" say you should never deny yourself anything, so technically I am not denying myself this, I just am choosing not to....
For 4 weeks, starting from this very moment, I am going to choose not to eat McDonalds or Potato chips. They truly are my downfall, my weekness, my triggerpoints. I know this, and I need to just stop it for now. I want to get into the healthy food habit. Even though I can eat in points, eating fries and cheeseburgers just isn't going to get me healthier. So wish me luck, here I go....
********************Update******************
Just wanted to tell you guys that I am still holding fast! NO potato chips and No Mcdonalds since I made the commitment! I had substitued other chips and other restaurants, and slowly I have cut them out too. I don't eat any chips right now, only popcorn for my salty/crunchy treat. And eating out is almost non existent, we might eat out on our anniversary, but otherwise I am avoiding all fast foods too. Occasional cousins on Saturday after work, and I cut the 1/2 sub in half eat part of that for dinner and then the other 1/2 for work the next day.
What I've learned...
#1 I was VERY dependent on McDonalds, truly didn't know how bad it was.
#2 I learned that I can have a sandwhich at lunch and eat veggies and dip instead of chips
#3 Baby steps will get me to my goal
#4 I have found that I can survive without McDonalds!
thanks everyone for your support! Means alot to me!
