the airfares are for next April (Easter week 4/9-4/17). I usually book in the summer and WOW - they really stink. Specifically from Albany, NY to MCO. Any advice or thoughts would really be appreciated!

Try Southeast Airlines out of Newburgh ... onlu about 1.5 hours away. They fly to Sandford, not MCO but if you purchase their Club 59 (for $59 a person or $99 for a family of four), each leg of your trip for a year will only cost $59. The club pays for itself the first trip and we're getting ready to use it for the third time in a year so we've really made out!

So many of us these days book on line 331 days in advance (4 PM 332 days in advance sometimes).

The airline could offer four, thirty, or two hundred cheap seats for certain choice flights/dates (like Sunday afternoon after Thanksgiving) 331 days in advance and they would all be gone within a month (week?). Then everyone else who looks and shops later still thinks that fares stink.

Of course, knowing that it could fill the seats at $280. each way three months in advance, the airline doesn't have any incentive to offer more than a few cheap seats 11 months in advance.
