Two free tickets to see the Terminal with Tom Hanks!!

I was getting ready to go to work last week when Michael, watching Mama's Family on TBS yells that the first 50 people to log onto TBS17 Atlanta's site will win 2 free tickets to that MOVIE YOU WANT TO SEE WITH TOM HANKS, MAAAAA!!!!

Michael and I made a bet during Shrek 2 that the NEXT movie will be one I WANTED TO SEE (even though I enjoyed Shrek more than he did ) and it would be the Terminal.

Well, needless to say I tripped over everything getting to my computer and ALAS my KEYBOARD was not working!!

I had to copy and paste everything on the site (a LOT of words ) and after I took all that time I told him FORGET IT, there is NO WAY I got through in time.

WRONG!!

I got the email tonight. We WON! We get to see it on Thursday!! My guess is NO ONE was watching Mama's Family BUT US!!

Oh, and BTW, I got the keyboard working again, obviously!!

Yay!! I LOVE TOM HANKS!!! (Michael will just have to DEAL!)

No problem! I have loved Tom Hanks since Bosom Buddies. I remember telling my Mom "that guy is GOOD. He's gonna be a STAR!"

I think I was right about that much! I was a little worried after a few of his bombs back in the day but just KNEW a Forrest Gump was in his future!

You will love the movie..........I saw it at a sneek peek preview Friday night.
However, it did cause me to have flashbacks about the lousy night I spent sleeping on the floor of the Atlanta airport 4 years ago

Me too! That was my favorite show!!! I was so happy to see him make it big!

Not only is Tom Hanks a great actor -- he really seems like a nice person too. That makes me like him even more. Have fun at your movie. Hey, since you won the tickets...maybe you can get popcorn and a soda without getting a 2nd mortgage on your house.

Thanks for the review, perdidobay. I was going to go to the sneak preview but got a bad sinus headache that night. Good thing, huh?

Yep, the main reason I like him is because he seems genuine in real life, a real nice guy. I also like his wife, Rita Wilson. She seems like the kind of woman he'd pick. I hope they make it in that crazy Hollyweird world! So far so good!
