Yeah, DH & I just booked a surprise trip for new years for the kids!!!
Let me start off by saying this is the 4th WDW trip I have planned this year. We had one planned for August(during free ddp) but it fell through because we were moving. So we moved it to Sept., which fell through because of DH's work. We moved it again to Mid-Dec which fell through again because of DH's work. So we finally moved it to Sept '08 for free DDP and started paying it off. BTW, DH is Marine, and he can only take leave at certain times. It just depends on there schedule. It suck's when trying to plan a real vacation.
Well when they announced the ticket upgrade deal yesterday, I called our AAA TA and jumped on it!! DH already had Dec 30-Jan 6 off, so those are our dates. With all the money we had already paid on the previously planned trips we only had a balance $160 after switching over. Sweet!! So this trip can be a Christmas present to the kids!!! I'm so happy to be able to sneak in a trip before DS turns 3 and I have to pay for him!!!
We are leaving home on the 30th, driving down. Going to Sea World (free tix for mil) on the 31st and checking into the World early on the 1st. Checking out early on the 6th and heading home. So 5 fun filled park days and Sea World to boot
