OK, I must be depressed. My trip is only 5 days away, Yesterday I could have cared less if anything got done. ( and very litttle did). I did get myself motivated to start to pack my suitcase, that did seem to help alot. Here I should be so excited. I am hoping to get more done today and get moving, Time for me to put on a Disney CD and get with it.

Has anyone else had this happen to them right before a trip? OH it is not fun at all.

Get moving!!! I'm leaving tomorrow and still not packed, and now I'm kickin' myself for not packing sooner!! Have a great trip!!

I ALWAYS get like that before a trip!!! When it is safely months away I am ok with it and very excited. But when it gets just weeks away I start feeling sick in my stomach and cannot get motivated to pack. I am not sure what it is all about.

I start feeling much better when we are at the airport. I don't like to fly so that stresses me out a bit. When I really relax is when we are at Orlando airport riding on the monorail to the luggage - our first ride in Florida! :)

How pathetic is this...due to a couple different things going on...DH has said that we can go down for a week starting 6/19 if I can get a room and airfare. I should be excited, right? nope! For me it's too close and I already have that feeling of nervousness in my stomach even tho we haven't decided yet and nothing is booked...

Hope things get better for you and you have a GREAT time!!!

Jill

We are usually very motivated to get ready for a trip to Disney World. I have a feeling this trip will be different, though, because of all of the traveling that we have to do in addition to our Disney trip. We are starting out with my husband's family in Florida for a week, going on to Disney for a week, going to Georgia for about two weeks to visit my family (possibly with a trip to DH's father's house in Tennessee for a weekend thrown in), then back to Florida for about a week to finish out our visit with DH's mom and the rest of his family. The thought of it all is just overwhelming me. We haven't done that much traveling all at one time since we had one child and now we have three. We are excited about going home but I have a feeling we are going to be absolutely exhausted.

Hmmm, I'm an early packer so I don't have this problem. But, I have to ask, MsDisney23, how did you win a trip to the GF? I'm intriqued!

You still have 4 days. I wouldn't be in any rush either.:D

Yes, it's happening to me now. I leave tomorrow for WDW. When I got up today I was thinking to myself "what if I miss the plane tomorrow .... who cares."

Last night I started to pack my things. Usually my stuff is ready weeks in advance and I have a list of what is packed. This time I don't care.

I think for me it's that Orlando has become a second home to me. I joked last week with friends that now I land, get the car and go grocery shopping before going "home" (OKW). The location is just different.

Once I get there I'll be fine but the enthusiasm is lacking for sure.

I am still packed for a trip in June, which I will not be taking. Keeping it packed just in case......::yes::

I usually get like this before a WDW vacation as well, not sure why, but I do.
