I can make a reservation??

Just for the fun of it, I went to the dining ressie page and put in a request. ( I'm nervous because we haven't firmed up our plans and am thinking with free dining likely to come through there may not be some left). I thought I could make reservations only with a hotel stay this far out- for the end of September. Am I wrong? Should I be making them now??

I believe anyone can make dinner reservations at 180 days out. You just can't do 180 +10 without a hotel

As the pp said, anyone can make ADRs 180 days ahead of time, you just can't make up to 10 days after that without a resort reservation (if you are making them right at the 180 day mark). With that said, since you are past the 180 day mark for the end of September, you can make ADRs now even though you don't have a resort reservation.

As long as it's 180 days or less, anyone can make an ADR. Many people stay offsite and many locals do day trips, so the dining system is open to anyone. The 180+10 perk is reserved for onsite guests.
