.....its almost time for us to leave PA for our long awaited 10 night/11 day visit with the Big Cheese himself. I can barely contain my excitement! ONE DAY LEFT :cool1::banana::dance3::cheer2:

Cast of Characters....

Me: Aimee, 36 yr old SAHM of 4
Hubby: Dave also 36, owns his own plumbing business
DS1: Owen, just turned 11 on the 3rd, so I see some bday celebrations in his Disney future :bday:
DS2: Cooper, 9...one of the kindest kids you'll every meet:love:
DS3: Grady, recently turned 6, he is the one who keeps everyone laughing, completely ham:rotfl2:
DD: Emma, 4 and the total princess of the family princess:
My Mom: Kathie, she might kill me if I posted her age, so I'll just say that she is the best Mom and MeeMee ever
My Dad: Joe, who also happens to be the best Dad and PopPop ever!

The Plan:

We're totally crazy and leaving at 7:30 a.m.....We live two hours from the airport that we are flying out of. Every other Disney trip we have stayed overnight somewhere near the airport. So when I made the our flight arrangements I had that thought in my head. However this time around both my Dad and my husband decided that staying over near the airport was not necessary :scared1:!!! I was completely shocked  by this and would have never (for my children's sake) have made the flight that early had I known. We will need to leave our house around 3 a.m. I'm completely worried about melt-downs so I am praying lots of pixie dust on our flight. My dh and Dad have been given notice that they are in charge of the kidlets for this flight :rolleyes1. I know I'm going to sound pessimistic here but being "the mom" I can count on one hand....make that one finger....the times that I have thought O I won't nap them because they'll sleep in the car, etc. that the plan has actually worked!!! But I'm trying to just hope for the best and forget about the worst:scared:. I'll let you know how that all works out.

After our crazy early morning flight, we will be whisked away by DME and headed to our resort....BLT!!!! I'm so excited to stay here and see what it will be like to be so close to MK!! And my kidlets are super excited.

Once we are checked in and settled (keeping fingers crossed for a great room, with a great view on a great floor....and ready early).....I know that's a tall order...but one can hope! I'm sure that we'll be too excited to nap but at some point a nap will be a MUST since we have Hoop Dee Doo at 7:15. We have never done it and we have kept it as a surprise for the kids.

Wed: We will head to Chef Mickey's for breakfast (a late one since I'm sure we'll be recovering from our travels) and then hitting MK.

Thurs: We'll do WS at Epcot and we have reservations at Teppan Edo.

Fri: Is DHS where the kids have requested lunch at Pizza Planet. And we think that after we are done there for the day that we will take the boat over to Beach Club and eat a late dinner at Beaches n Cream.

Sat: Is our break day....it was originally scheduled so that my DH could golf but with the tournament that is going on at all of the Disney courses that will not be happening. So I think a day by the pool is the perfect alternative. After a relaxing day we will head to 1900 Park Fare for dinner so that DD gets a meal with Cinderella. We did the Castle last trip during lunch and we thought we'd try something else. I've heard the ugly stepsisters are a hoot and my little princess will be thrilled to meet prince charming!

Sun: We'll be back in the action with a trip to AK and then we have dinner reservations at Kona.

Mon: We'll be back for round 2 at DHS and this time per the kids request (and a favorite of mine) we'll be having lunch at Sci-Fi.

Tues: Takes us back to MK. With no set plans for lunch/dinner. Gonna fly by the seat of our pants on this one.

Wed: Day 2 at Epcot with reservations at Via Napoli.

Thurs: Our last full day will be spent at MK with lunch at Crystal Palace.

Fri: Don't even want to think about our departure day....but the one good thing is that we have a late flight back at 7:40 p.m.

A few side notes: We bought a 10 day park hopper so while we may start out at one park on any given day we very well may end up somewhere else. We also adore DTD and will spend plenty of time there. I am also really hoping and wishing that we will make it to MVMCP! We have never done any special events and I've heard so many wonderful things about them.

I know I'm a little biased but I have the best family ever and I completely adore them and the best part about this entire trip is that I will get to spend 11 days having tons of family time and making family memories that will last a lifetime! I cannot wait!!!!

Hope you have a great trip. We are from Pa, but we always drive down. My kids are much older, but ever since they were little we have driven. Can't wait to hear about your trip.

popcorn:: OK, I'm hooked. Hopefully you'll have some time to do an in-progress-trip-report! Have a good time!

Im in....We leave in 12 days for a 9 night 10 day trip:cool1:

Have a fantastic time!! You will love Via Napoli...I was there last month and this place has now been added to my "must do" restaurants.

Hope you have time for a "live" trip report but if not please do one when you return so we all can re-live your wonderful vacation!!! :goodvibes

Hey you!! I looked ALL WEEK to see if you were going to post "live". LOL...I almost created a thread "CEE...WHERE ARE YOU??":lmao:

So...how was your trip???? Are you planning your next one?? ;)

Hi all! We are having a fantastic time and if I could just find an hour to be in my room I'd start my TR! Maybe this evening will be an early night and I can get my photos uploaded!
The short and sweet of it is that we are in LOVE with BLT!!!! Everyone keeps commenting on how wonderful it is to be so close to MK and how it just feels like you are in the heart of Disney. Our room is amazing, by far my favorite and I'm not all that into modern decor but I love it here, it just works. For all the complaints I was reading about on the DISboards I was worried about what kind of shape our room might be in but aside from a drawer handle that was off and laying inside of a drawer our room is awesome. The beds are soooo incredibly comfortable, even the sofa beds. Our view is great! We are on the inside rim of BLT on the 10th floor with a view of the pool, lake, Epcot and the Swan and Dolphin. We're thrilled with it. I love that everytime we go to take the elevator we get a glorious view of the MK and at night the castle in all of its holiday beauty!
This is our first time being here so close to the holidays and I'm like a little kid taking in all the holiday decorations and I am in complete awe of the castle.
While no vacation is ever "perfect" (and I'll explain that later) we are having a magical time.

Off to Animal Kingdom and Kona today....TTFN :)

Hi luvthattink,
Sounds like you are having a great time and I agree BLT is a great resort. :goodvibes Looking forward to reading your trip report and seeing your pictures! Have lots of fun. :thumbsup2

Love it!

I have to agree 100% the castle during the holidays (and all of the decorations at all the parks) is just BEEUUUTTTIIIFFFFUUUULLL. It has to be my favorite time of the year to travel to Disney.

Have a great rest of your trip, and looking forward to a TR!! :goodvibes
