Don't you hate that?!?:headache: It's only 0818 and already very humid. I've already had my morning shower and had good hair. One step out the door and *poof* here comes the magic afro.

Doesn't help matters that I am teaching a class today in a room the size of a closet with no a/c at all. Let's take bets on how long I can go until my hair gets pulled up on my head. I give it until 1130 and that's pushing it.

Anyone else have weather related hair? My husband loves teasing me about it. Says he knows the weather by my hair:rolleyes:

I don't have that problem, Tina.

My hair is short and flat -- so it just gets even more flatter.:headache:

What kind of class are you teaching? Makeup 101? How To Apply Radiant Red Lipstick? Pole Dancing?:rolleyes1

;)

I went ahead and put mine up on my head before I left for work this morning. New as soon as I walked outside it would be a lost cause.

Ugh I so have that hair.
My friends can tell the weather by way my hair looks. :rotfl2:

I have hair like yours Tina, if anything, mine might be curlier. And I know what you mean about the weather. There are certain days I look out the window and immediately realize it's going to be a hat day.

I would give my right arm and leg to have straight, silky hair.

I relate. I too have that hair! I turn into Don King in the humidity:scared1:

I'm teaching a combination of all three! You should join in. I need a resident expert:thumbsup2 The new military wives have no clue how to pass the time during the deployments;)

People tease me all the time about my hair. I tell them I was born short, fat and all this hair and I imagine I'll die shorter, fat and with all this hair. I've never had flat hair. I can't even imagine it

My hair is long, but it's also very fine and very straight.
My hair just gets limp in humidity. :(

Tina,

I would love to come help you teach the class -- but unfortunately I am currently on a World Tour promoting my new instructional video: "Bring It On XXI - Bending That Pole Like Beckham.":goodvibes

I hate "Humidity Hair" days!

Yet here I am with straight and silky hair, and I don't like it. I have searched everywhere for a product to give me more body. On humid days I pull out all the arsenals I own, and it still goes flat.
Back in the 80's I used to perm my hair because big hair was so 'in', and there was no way I could compete without a perm. A few times it came out way too kinky, and I found some really great products to tone it down and give it some control. Do you girls with lots of curls use those? Do they help?

I'm right there with ya! The last few days I've actually been wearing a headband to tame it even though I look like a 7-year old! I also have been taking my flat iron to work - til I park & walk in my bangs are all wavy & I just have to have them straight or my mood goes south.

Isn't it pathetic how the way my hair looks can really make or break my day?!? Ugh!

If there is one thing I've learned with curly hair, it's all about the product. But on the really humid days, even the strongest products don't work for the really dry, curly hair (like mine).

I think the grass is always greener on the other side. We always want what we don't have.

Mine is not "Curly" but is very wavy when longer (like I have it now).
It is huge already. I have washed, blown and straightened.... sigh.

Tina, I am going to have mine permanently straightened at the end of the month. Have you ever considered that?

I'll let you know how it goes....

I have the opposite problem, fine straight hair that goes flat in the heat. Since I live in Florida I look like a limp noodle head half the year.

I have 'Monica in the Bahamas' hair from Friends as well. As the humidity gets higher my hair gets curlier. DD and DH thinks its rather amusing and they find that episode of Friends absolutely hysterical.

Sorry, I just can't muster up sympathy for someone with straight, silky hair. :lmao:

Yes, I have extremely curly hair that is just everywhere with high humidity. Makes me miss New Mexico. ;)

The other day, a coworker asked me if I'd gotten my hair cut because it looked really different. I pointed to the window and said, "Umm...it's raining." :rotfl:

I have the same hair but it's also THICK. So I have lots or limp noodles on my head today.

I have fine, limp, lifeless hair. Straight as a board. Problem is I also have strands of very kinky hair that peeks out and waves when it is humid. So, my hair looks really uncombed and flat.

I have to wear my hair curly in the humidity which I hate. I hate curtly hair but anything else is just a waste of time. If I try and straighten it it looks like yellow cotton candy.
