I've broken toes before, but I had a great story to go along with my limp.
It involved a phone call, staples, two cats, a rug and a threshold.
about as much as any broken toe hurts.BAMBIFOREVER said:ow sounds like it hurt

Sparx said:Well basically I was at my computer. I sit on my ankles most of the time. so the phone rang and I was home alone. so I stand up, but my feet are asleep. I manage to get about halfway to the phone before my cat realizes she needs to help me get to the phone. so I have a cat under my feet and my left foot is alseep. Well my other cat doesn't want to be left out, so shes up under my feet too. I'm almost to the phone at this point. then the cats start fighting. I my foot slides over the threshold under the rug that is stapled down so people stop tripping on it, and two toes break.
Hah.I didn't go to the doctor. There is really nothign they can do. I gritted my teeth and set the two of them, then taped them together. then taped the two toes taped together to the toes on either side.potcislove said:Ick.
Confusing story, but certainly amusingHah.
What exactly do you do when a toe breaks? I mean, when a finger breaks, I know they attach it to another finger, but toes are a lot smaller and stuff.
I would die if I broke my hand or fingers. I type a lot, but I can type one handed. so that really wouldn't be a problem. But I would miss my guitar.Loves Disney said:Ouch, Sparx...makes me thank my lucky stars that I have never broken anything *knocks on wood* lol.
I would pretty much enter a state of depression if I ever broke even one of my fingers, though. The piano means too much to me lol.
As for toes...the closest I've gotten to harming them is bang them really really hard against something equally as hard, heh.
See, that is what I was thinking too...because I write a good deal...but I figured I could either write by hand or type without the broken fingers. To play the piano or the guitar, you need most, if not all of your fingers to play very well. (You know what I mean...I don't mean to say you can't play well using only a few fingers, lol, I just don't know how else to word that heh).Sparx said:I would die if I broke my hand or fingers. yeah. I couldn't play guitar if I broke anything other than my little finger on either hand.Loves Disney said:See, that is what I was thinking too...because I write a good deal...but I figured I could either write by hand or type without the broken fingers. You can hear a snap most of the time. usually very loud. But with the amount of noise around me I couldn't hear it.Pearls said:Ahh, oww.
The thought of breaking a body part makes me so uneasy.
Can you hear it snap when it breaks?
fkhjfkghj
I'm shocked I've never broken, twisted or sprained anything with me being such a huge klutz.
I've never even gotten stitches. (Expect in my mouth for my wisdom teeth, but that doesn't really count)
I do have a never-ending collection of bruises on my legs and arms though. :|

(This is totally off-topic, but I can hear the music from a Disney World commercial in the other room. It's giving me butterflies. :] )
