I bought the wrong size beer bottles...?

I bought some beer for Dh to carry on. I bought the aluminum because I thought they would be lighter. I just noticed that they are 16oz - not 12 oz as specified in the alcohol policy. Should I not even bother taking them or is the policy not quite that strict? Thanks

Can't say for sure, but I'd probably not bring them. But, then, I like to "play by the rules". Someone undoubtedly will come on and say "sure, no problem". Then it's your call.

It's a tough call because they looked like regular beer size when I bought them. Annoying that I didn't notice at the store.

I agree with Shmoo. I did hear of a few people trying to take the 16oz and it being refused. Better safe than sorry.

Except if you try and they take them away, you might not have an opportunity to replace them with 12 oz beers until the first port.

Bring them. I would be surprised if they take them from you.

They do sell beer on the ship last I checked.

Besides, the drones working at Port Canaveral couldn't care less what types or sizes of cans you're bringing on board. I could have brought a sixer of canned Scotch on board. (Yes, they make it) and they never would have known because they never looked.
