And now I have a few questions.

1. I use Tide powder, do you use less? Do you used High efficiency (front-loader) detergent? I just opened the washer, loads of suds!!!

2. How do you add regular bleach? I thought I followed the instructions, but now I think I goofed. I turned on the washer, put in clothes and detergent, waited until the amber lights turned off and then poured in the diluted bleach. The bleach went out through the sides of the column.

Should I have waited to add the detergent until after the bleach?

In general, do you load the clothes, turn on the washer, then add the detergent? I have been putting in the detergent, adding clothes, and then turning on the washer.

I can't get it to play music!! :p

Thanks,
Susan

I am not sure what F P refers to but I have front loading machines (Duet from Whirlpool) and I had to feel my way with the detergent. It helped to watch the video that came with the washer. I use a mail order laundry product (liquid) and use less than I used when I had a top load machine. The detergent itself is very concentrated, so it has been a nice fit with my machine.

I hope you enjoy your new machines. I love mine.

Mom,

I really love mine so maybe I can help. It is a different kind of machine, isn't it?

First, I rarely used bleach before and have not used it since getting this machine. I would suggest watching the video and reading the instruction book that comes with the machine. If you didn't get those, you should have. It is pretty clear about what to do.

When I use any additives, I put it in the center along with the soap. The trick with this machine is that is uses a very small amount of water for the first part of the cycle, the soap is concentrated and works better that way. It then adds water to fill the tub and again aggitates. Hope that helps.

I find the clothes very clean without bleach. I do sometimes use the spray and wash tablets out there now on my whites/ lights. They seem to work great.

I also tend to use more dryer sheets as they recommend.

Call you dealer if you didn't get the instruction stuff or check their site.
