I booked HHI today for June

I just went in today and changed my dates already we are now going to arrive on Sunday 6/23, we will still be leaving on 6/29. I was surprised that there was availability. I am glad that I went in and made the change this morning because now 6/23 and 6/24 are not available.
We decided with 2 young children we would do better by leaving PA Saturday and driving part of the way down, stay at a hotel and wake up early Sunday and drive to HHI.
I love having DVC, it nice to be able to use my points for a vacation that everyone will enjoy.

We are not too far from you, we live in Macungie. I visit the outlets quite often in Pottstown

Not sure if you have driven down before (we do it every year), if not- consider the 81-77-26-95 route. Although a few more miles.....it is much less drive time.

It's been years since we've been to HHI. The last time we went we took 95 all the way down. I would like to avoid as much traffic as possible, it looks as though your route avoids most of the heavy traffic areas but seem kind of round about. How long does it usually take you?

We live in CT and will be there the exact same dates. Just curious - are you staying in a 2bdrm? We always leave our home on Sat and take the 81-77-26-95 route. I think it adds about an hour of drive time but I never really hit any kind of traffic. I like to avoid the usual problem areas on 95 in DC and VA. See you there!

Straight about 13 hours, per google maps. But, we stop alot as we have 3 kids. We normally leave Thursday evening after work...drive about 5-6 hours (try to be into middle of VA or so); then Friday we drive but stop at whatever sights we choose to. Normally, eating at sitdowns twice etc..... Usually around 10pm or so- we stop about 1 hour from HHI on 95. Wake up early and head to HHI resort

We never make any plans as to where we will stop. Sometimes, the drive goes perfect, we are not tired etc....others well...not so good! We normally hotwire a room from our phones by using there "use my current location" app.
