I booked a 2 Bedroom Value @ Jambo...

...will I be disapointed? Originally I was looking to get a 1 Bedroom Standard. We don't need the room for 8, but it sure will be nice to have 2 Br's. Does anyone have pics from the values. I'm curious as to waht the different views from the balconies look like as well as the room.

It might be a parking lot view. It might be a pool view. It might be a savanna view. And it will be a lockoff, so you have one queen bed and one double sleeper sofa in the second bedroom.

The "Value" in a Value room does not designate the view you receive. The "Value" designates the size of the room. The Value rooms are 3 feet shorter from door to balcony.

I have stayed in a value room, and in my opinion, the extra space will not be missed versus a normal sized room.

The value rooms have a 40% chance of being a savanna view, a 40% chance of being a pool view, or a 20% chance of being a parking lot view.

In my opinion, the points saved for a value sized room far exceed any size lost or for the small chance of a parking lot view... I'd rather save my points and stay longer. There are plenty of places to enjoy the animals at the resort.

You will be very happy with the value room! Enjoy!

Thank you for confirming that. I came up with the same rough percentages when I was looking at a map of the AKV 5th floor. While I'd love to get a savanna view, a pool view would be fine too. If its parking lot, then we'll just have to tour the resort

The kitchen, kitchenette and bathroom in the Value rooms are the same size as those in a Jambo House non-Value room. The size difference is in the bedroom and living area of the 1BR and the living/sleeping area of the studio. Because of the reduced space, the Value 1BRs do not have the sleeper chair and the studio portion does not have the storage bench which reduces the storage space in the studio by about a third. The balcony of a Value room is not as deep as those on the non-Value rooms.

We stayed in a value studio and didn't really notice a difference in room size. We also had a great view of the savannah!

We stayed in 2 brm value & we lucky enough to get out request for a pool view. I'm hoping we have the same luck in August:

You can't go wrong with anything at AKL...the whole resort is beautiful and you'll have a great vacation

Not with the value villas. No requests are permitted.

That is what I have heard many times over. No requests for the value villas. Maybe LisaS can share more information.

I requested a savannah view when I had a value and the CM didn't tell me that I couldn't do that. I did get the view too.
