I Believe We All Need A little Reminder

The past week I've been watching several threads complaining about losing and how VMK is being unfair and how they did not win and I just can't sit by and watch this. The Year of a Million Dreams promotion was launched to give families on their trips a little more magic while they were there. It brought people closer together and it created more magical memories. What VMK is doing right now is just that. You don't see people who travel to the parks complaining about how they haven't won anything on their trip because they are in WDW and there is no reason they should complain about not winning something extra. Your playing VMK which is a recreation of the Kingdom that we have all come to love and it is part of the reason we return everyday. So all of you on right now as crazy as it sounds should act as though you are at the park and that is what I love about VMK. I love to think that I am not sitting at home playing on a computer but that I am at the place I love playing in the Kingdom that is my home. So if you don't win anything from dreams month it is not the end of the world, and the Disney magic is still there.

I actually complain that I did not win the Dream Ears when I went to Disneyland in March and April.

But I see your point. Treat this as more of a Dreams thing, than a Host Prize thing.

You're silly....but, actually I was disappointed that we did not win anything the last time we went to WDW, too. By not winning something, in this promotion, it means your appearance is somehow not special enough to draw attention to yourself that you should receive something special from someone else. It is hard not to get caught up in the 'attention by appearance' thing but it is the better attitude to just enjoy the surroundings. Perhaps we should just encourage all to keep their disappointment to themselves.

I dont complain, I just wait around and see what happens. I have all month to get stuff, so I must be patient. As long as I get dream room and dream ears by the end of this month...then Im good
