We are so excited!!! Silly question, but we want to drive under the Mickey Welcome Disney World sign. Sometimes we don'5 drive under it and I am not sure why lol.

Can someone tell me which exit to get off so we make sure we drive under it before arriving at the Fort?

Also, we left our magic bands at home..forgot them. No biggie since we are planning on spending most of the time enjoying the Fort and not going into parks, but do we need them to open restrooms or laundry facilities?

I don't know the exit number but I think it's World Drive you want to get off on. Someone with more expertise will be along shortly to give you better answers. From what I've read, they will issue you new MB but only be the gray ones. Have Fun!!
Depends on which way you are getting to Fort too.

There are multiple welcome signs, 5 in total I believe.

World Drive just off 192
Osceola Parkway just off the I-4
Epcot Center Drive (I think)
Hotel Plaza Blvd and 535 near Disney Springs
On Western Way somewhere before Coronado

If you're heading south on I-4 take exits 65 (Osceola) or 64 (World Drive via 192).

I use google Maps on my phone as GPS. I know set it for directions to the Magic Kingdom (since the fort is basically a "Right" through the booths for parking). That way I get to make sure I see the Arrival "Sights" that we like.

Also you DO need the MB's to get into the laundry at all hours, to the restrooms after midnight, and if you leave the Fort and come back in you need your MB otherwise you have to stop at the guard and they have to "Validate" you (ID, check list, etc...)

You need MB to get into laundry at all times and for the bathroom between 11 pm and 6 am.

Tell them when you check in, I think they provide the gray ones if you forgot.
