Not only have I nailed CRT breakfast twice, for the exact time and date we wanted, but today I called and got Victoria and Albert . . .

for January 13.

I'm taking that as a sign that WDW won't be busy that week.

Or that nobody can afford to eat there anymore. But I'm trying to convince myself that it's the "not busy" one. :rotfl:

cool :thumbsup2 hopefully January will not be too busy

Score:woohoo:

and yeah, I agree it looks like it's going to be pretty slow there after the holidays. I called this week to get ressies for January 20-22...got first choice & exact time we wanted on 2 table service. Then called today & added a breakfast reservation for 1/23...same thing...first choice time & place.

In fact, at the one restaurant when I said we wanted "some time between 5 & 6 p.m." the reply was "there's available seatings every 10 minutes starting at 5:10". At the other restaurant there were 4 choices in the hour time frame I asked for. Breakfast at Kona on 1/23 I had my choice of virtually any time.

Now I did not ask for Le Cellier or Coral Reef at Epcot (been there, still in the trying-all-the-restaurants-phase) so could be those very popular spots really were booked up.

This is day 45 for us...

Called last week to get ADRs for week of Jan 25th. 1st request was for Le Cellier & I was told the entire day was "pretty open"

I called this week for reservations for Jan 5th and got lunch at LeCellier.....called two weeks ago for Jan 24th and got dinner at CRT

Odd because I called to see if there were any earlier times available for Coral Reef on 1/1 and nada left. So we are sticking with our 8pm dinner.

Course, you're talking about a holiday...some people will still be there for the extended holiday vacations so I'd expect it to be much busier (don't holiday prices go until 1/2 or 1/3?)

Don't think it really seriously empties out until January 3 or so.

Thats great! We are going in January too and have been messing with my ressies like crazy and I cannot believe the stuff I am able to book.

Same thing with March....we booked a weekend trip the other day and snagged Le Cellier dinner at 6 for 2!

The only time you should ever have a problem at V&A is for major holidays or the one Chef's Table reservation per day.

The seating capacity of V&A is about 70 and they normally have 45-50 people at a meal (and two seatings per evening)

Jan and Feb have always been pretty slow when I've gone during that time, I bet it'll be even slower next year with the recession.

I have been trying to get ADR's at Le Cellier for several days now and I'm having NO luck!!:sad1: I need a table for 2 Jan. 15-17 at any time. Is it possible to show up at opening and maybe get a table?

We are going the week of January 25th, and the only 2 reservations I haven't been able to get are a Fantasmic dinner package and Le Cellier dinner. I think there was an 8:50 reservation for Le Cellier on 1-26, but that's too late for us. So far, our ADRs are for Boma, Biergarten, Chefs de France, 1900 Park Fare, Raglan Road and Jiko - all for dinner. Le Cellier is no big deal - we've been there before and thoroughly enjoyed it, but trying new restaurants is probably a better use of our time. Of the reservations, we have only visited Jiko before (and that was 2 years ago), so most everything will be new to us.

I would guess CRT reservations would be dwindling down, but then again, it has an inventory of breakfast and lunch reservations for Cinderella dining, so that may help.
